My cat had been unwell off and on for 18 months. She was incorrectly diagnosed 3 times - initially with a tummy upset, then potential kidney failure and then pancreatitis. When scanning her pancreas they finally discovered a major heart problem. The vet that called me said she had been sedated for the scan as she was vicious and that euthanasia was the kindest option. She was not vicious. She was uncomfortable and distressed having been dragged backwards and forwards, poked and prodded and shaved for different tests including blood from her jugular twice. She was insured and money was not in question for my little lady. I can’t help think that if she had been diagnosed correctly in the first place her last few months would have been better for her. Having taken her to them for 15 years I am disappointed that then didn’t identify the cause of her illness in time to give her appropriate care in her last few months. After 6 mths of grieving i now have 2 kittens and will not be taking them to Harbour and will not be recommending them to others.

Fantastic vets. Sadly today we had my father in laws dog put to sleep and they were all lovely. Nothing was too much trouble as we were not expecting it I had the baby with me and while we were in with the vet the girls at the desk kept her entertained. They were very compassionate and helpful. Completely recommend this vet. Always willing to go out their way to make appointments to suit.

Very bad experience I took my dog here as they have a liver specialist, well she told me my previous vet was wrong and misgiognosed my dog, well actually they was wrong and I've spent loads of money for nothing and believe me I've tried to hold this vet responsible, I have no leg to stand on and it's almost impossible to take a vetenry surgeon to court, they seem to be well and truly protected under by laws, well to make matters worse they have not tried once to contact me in regards to my dog and even after she was admitted back into there hospital for a completely different thing and was kept in the vets for 5 days, not once did this liver specialist or any other trained vet look or ask about the already preexisting condition, and the guy who handed me back my dog actually said he looked at her and noticed this issue and said it's of his opinion it is the original issue that was diagnosed by my previous vet! This surgery is in my opinion (and I've used them in the past) run by a lady who is only interested in money, it's sad but true and although some of the staff are genuine, many seem to be acting as if freelance vets, I'm outraged that this thing can and does happen often, I've sat in this vet and blatantly witnessed medication and ao called offers sold without the correct information and also not needed, vets today are no more then money makers who prey on the fact the general public do not no any better, well I've done my research and it's out of order. If you care about your animals, don't be tempted to use this vets because they have a hospital facility, don't be fooled.

Always there for you when you need them. The staff from the top consultants to the ladies who answer the phone are so helpful, kind and understanding. I would not trust anyone else with the healthcare...

Staff are friendly and helpful. Vets treat your pet as you would and not as just a money making opportunity. My family have been using Harbour for 15 years plus now and we can't recommend them enough

Fantastic vets. Sadly today we had my father in laws dog put to sleep and they were all lovely. Nothing was too much trouble as we were not expecting it I had the baby with me and while we were in with the vet the girls at the desk kept her entertained. They were very compassionate and helpful.
