Our cat cut its paw and needed a vet. My wife took her to our nearest vet (Poulner Vets) who administered pain and inflammation relief and she was booked for an op the next morning, but needed to fast. Crafty blighter found food, so next day I called in and explained, so the op was postponed, but more medication needed. I questioned this as stopping the pain reaching her brian wouldn’t be beneficial to her leg wound. Oh by the way we had already spent £60+ and the quote for the op was 600+. I wasn’t happy so googled her accident. The average cost to treat a cut paw was £350. So I took her to another vet. Quote £350-£400. Treatment now complete and so pleased we found Cedar Vets. Professional from start to finish, albeit still expensive imo. Read Less

Thanks to the team at Cedar for a consistently friendly and professional approach, always welcoming, knowledgeable and accommodating. Special thanks to everyone involved with Happy Handling (Kayleigh in particular) as Dylan has grown from a dog who was very nervous going to the vets and being examined to one who can’t wait to get there - if only for the endless cuddles and treats he receives! Cedar Vets are absolutely brilliant. After our Whippet had sustained a nasty dog bite wound and already gone through one failed operation (at another Vet practice) to fix it, we were very skeptical about more surgery and certainly didn't think the prospects were good, however we were astounded by the level of care given to our dog from start to finish throughout this traumatic time once he was under the care of Cedars. Antonia handled our nervous boy brilliantly and the surgery she performed was second to none. He is now back to full health and happy as ever. All the staff are wonderful and supported us through such a hard time. I couldn't recommend them highly enough. We'd never take our pets anywhere else after this. Thank you all :) Read Less

I cannot recommend Cedars highly enough. All the staff are helpful and professional. More importantly they care about your pet and are happy to discuss various options for treatment. My initial reason for registering with them is that they have 24hr emergency cover, whereas a lot of Vet practices have other Vets that do out of hours, this invariably means they do not have access to your pets medical records. They also have great hospital facilities at Ringwood and staff are in attendance all night with in patients, which I know for a fact, is not the case at all Vets ! Read Less

Cedars is incredible. Our pets have been customers for over 25 years. Their vets are technically brilliant, but what sets them apart is that they truly and deeply care about the animals they see rather than just seeing them as anonymous inpatients. Staff on reception engage with you rather than process you, and the backroom team of nurses provide care that doesn't exist in any other clinic in the area. They've got the only primary care veterinary hospital in the area staffed 24/7 able to carry out complex operations. An amazing team of caring, brilliant professionals. Read Less
