Excellent Veterinary surgery. Always ready to squeeze you in if your pet is unwell. Quite popular and sometimes do get kept waiting, but it's worth it to know your pet is well looked after. Reminder service for Flea and Worming, and checkup appointments. Read Less

Always very friendly staff and the receptionists are very helpful. Karen the vet explains everything so I understand what is wrong with my cat And what I have to do at home to keep him well. Orchard Vets- staff friendly. Have been overcharged several times, and charged DOUBLE for non prescription items which can been purchased elsewhere. Not even bothered to reply to email I sent 2 weeks ago. Vets clearly do not read pets notes before a needed second consultation, and when you phone to ask the cost of the initial consultation the reception staff are not sure!! My parents started using orchards back in the 70's when they had goats and other animals and I have used them myself for the last 18 years and hopefully for many more. I try to always book appointments with Karen with my cats (18, 18 and 7) as she is superb and to check that any research I have done is in keeping with any ailment and dietary requirements. I have had follow up appoints with Clare and she is very nice as well. The reception staff are also excellent and I always look forward to seeing all the team, but especially seeing Rainy who always manages to get me an emergency appointment fitted in. Julie on reception is good as well - just that she hasn't known me as long as Rainy. I cannot fault this practice in anyway and if anyone asks me for a vet I always say "Orchards".
