Krishna came to you as a kitten and remained a patient for 16 years and sadly passed away Sunday 8th July 2018. If anyone is needing a first class vet who puts the animals welfare first, then this is the vets to use.

We had to make an emergency appointment here on Sunday night, and the staff were really good. The ladies on reception were lovely and reassuring, and the vet was really helpful. We had a wait as there...
We had to make an emergency appointment here on Sunday night, and the staff were really good. The ladies on reception were lovely and reassuring, and the vet was really helpful. We had a wait as there was another emergency (which was not a problem for us), but we were kept informed of the wait throughout, and periodic checks were made to ensure our pet hadn't got worse. Subsequent phone call for additional advice was also very helpful.

All of the staff at Beech house vets are so friendly and helpful. The prices are extremely good, especially considering the amazing services provided. Always feel confident that my cat is in the best of hands and I never feel ripped off, which is not the case for many other vetenary practises around the area.

Apart from a long wait as they were busy and the fees I could not fault them. The staff, all of them, were amazing. Unfortunately they are not miracle workers, so the loss of my dog means I won't be going back there, however the compassion shown and the time I was given to y goodbye helped ease his passing.

Very good practise, very experienced and sympathetic to my dogs needs. The only problem I can see is that they have been taken over and, with the new owners infinite wisdom, have decided to close the open morning surgeries and make it appointments only!
I do not understand the thinking here, apart from £££s,
To have an animal go sick on you and know that you can get to the surgery early and be guaranteed to be seen, far out ways the cost.
To be told potentially that there are no more slots for that day, means that some animals will suffer unnecessarily.
Now I might be getting cynical here but, I wonder if the new owners have made an allowance for such a situation and will have emergency slots available for a premium price!
Maybe time for me to look for a new vets.

Have always found the staff to be friendly and welcoming. As well as providing quality care for my pets they have also been sensitive to mine and my family's feeling when we sadly lost one of our dogs suddenly. The walk in surgery in the mornings is brilliant, although appointments can also be made in the afternoon.

My family have been taking our dogs to 64 West End Rd since about 1964. Including the old sites in Portswood, Lances Hill, Hedge End and Park Gate.

My family have been taking our dogs to 64 West End Rd since about 1964. Including the old sites in Portswood, Lances Hill, Hedge End and Park Gate.
Who ever has been in charge and no matter which staff member we dealt with I can honestly say we have always been treated very well. Most importantly so have Pepe, Sooty, Monty, Sam, Archie and our latest arrival Rocky.
Rocky has recently been seen by two vets, had X-rays, pain relief and a referral to a specialist centre near Ringwood. He is due to be operated on tomorrow 8th March 2017 for cruiate ligament surgery.
I can not thank the Beech House Team enough for all they have done for Rocky and the others in the past.

I like the open surgery in the mornings which I have never encountered at any practice. The vaccination boosters were a very reasonable price. At my last practice these were much more expensive !

Quite disgusted at the fact that our dog was having trouble breathing, only to be told that it "might" be hayfever. Charged us 144 for the pleasure of a 10 minute check up and told were more than welcome to come back later.. Probably for another ridiculous charge! Understandably it's Sunday out of hours, but seriously???!!! This is daylight robbery!! Taking advantage of people worrying about their pets
