Friendly, professional and always tell me my pets are gorgeous! On a serious note they have been great on the 2 occasions I've needed to come without an appointment they have been able to see me very quickly. Once this was out of hours and was expensive but they were able to help my sick cat. The other time was on the mind of a week day and cost a lot less!

Sadly we had to have our dog put down last week but Seadown vets made her as comfortable as possible and brought in some treats for us to give her, they also gave us some time alone before and after to be with her. They were so compassionate about it all and made things so much more bearable. And through the post today came a beautiful card from them hand written with lovely words. I cannot recommend them enough.

The equine department at seadown have a great work ethic, vets work together along with the nurses making a strong team. I was able to watch the procedure being given a full and informative explanation what I was seeing, they were patient with my naive questioning and seemed to enjoy the opportunity to educate and inform. They have a genuine love of horses with open and honest communication. I felt completely confident that my horse was well cared for throughout his overnight stay, he was in no hurry to leave the next day which was very reassuring. I highly recommend this practise

Seadown Vets were amazing when my old dog had to be put to sleep. They allowed us the time to say goodbye, even gave the injection on the floor while he lay in my lap. Couldn't rate them higher.

My 20 year old cat suffered a massive fit on Saturday 16th Jan in the evening I'm so glad we have Seadown on our doorstep because it was so devastating seeing her suffer such a horrible thing and I wouldn't of been able to get her further afield. Unfortunately she went to sleep and as before with her brother Seadown did not rush us. We had the time we needed to say goodbye. Id had her since she was 7weeks old. Pussum was my life's companion dearly missed but you made it just that little bit easier for us both. Thank you x

A huge thank you to Kate McMorris for the wonderful care and expertise in treating my 9 year old Boxer bitch Cassie who originally presented with a nasty ulcerated cornea and has made a better than perfect recovery (Prior to the ulcerated cornea, Cassie had cloudiness in her eye, and even this has now cleared along with the ulcer ) In all honesty I was terrified from the outset that Cassie may have to lose her eye due to the injury, but within moments of meeting Kate, my fears were allayed and Cassie was immediately admitted for corrective surgery. One week on from our initial consultation with Kate, and Cassie was speeding towards a full recovery. 3 months on and Cassie is in perfect health with two beautiful, clear and fully functional eyes. I am so impressed and grateful to Seadown for their professionalism, clinical expertise and wonderful bedside manner. I have a very reliable sense of intuition and have complete confidence that all animals under Kate's charge are treated with the utmost care and attention as if they were her own pets. Seadown are a wonderful example of how all vets should be in this country. I will continue recommending Seadown Veterinary Group to all of my clients. Thank you so much

We will never bring another dog to Seadown Vets after the devastating experience we had with them. Our one year old dog was admitted for a routine cherry eye procedure and we received a phone call one hour later to say he was dead.
While the cause of our dogs death is unknown, it transpired that he was muzzled without our permission (Seadown have acknowledged in writing that we did not consent to this) and we never would have allowed the procedure to go ahead had we been made aware of this. Our dog was excitable but also nervous and would have been in complete distress with a Baskerville muzzle on his face in our opinion the practice should have phoned us to advise that a muzzle would be necessary in order to proceed however we were not given the opportunity to object to it and never saw our dog again.
In Seadowns Animal Handling Rules policy it states: Information from the owner regarding any vices the dog may have, should be sought on admittance. Owners should muzzle their own animals if they feel it is a necessity. Clear instructions should be written on the admit sheet and kennel regarding the temperament of the dog.
We were never consulted on our dogs temperament when we admitted him and there was no mention of the use of muzzles either vocally or on their consent form. Seadown have stated that they will take this opportunity to review our muzzling policy and the wording of our consent forms, however nothing will bring our dog back and we will be bringing our beloved pets elsewhere in the future.

I was able to watch the procedure being given a full and informative explanation what I was seeing, they were patient with my naive questioning and seemed to enjoy the opportunity to educate and inform. They have a genuine love of horses with open and honest communication. I felt completely confident that my horse was well cared for throughout his overnight stay, he was in no hurry to leave the next day which was very reassuring. I highly recommend this practise

Seadown Vets were amazing when my old dog had to be put to sleep. They allowed us the time to say goodbye, even gave the injection on the floor while he lay in my lap. Couldn't rate them higher.

My 20 year old cat suffered a massive fit on Saturday 16th Jan in the evening I'm so glad we have Seadown on our doorstep because it was so devastating seeing her suffer such a horrible thing and I wouldn't of been able to get her further afield. Unfortunately she went to sleep and as before with her brother Seadown did not rush us. We had the time we needed to say goodbye. Id had her since she was 7weeks old. Pussum was my life's companion dearly missed but you made it just that little bit easier for us both. Thank you x

A huge thank you to Kate McMorris for the wonderful care and expertise in treating my 9 year old Boxer bitch Cassie who originally presented with a nasty ulcerated cornea and has made a better than perfect recovery (Prior to the ulcerated cornea, Cassie had cloudiness in her eye, and even this has now cleared along with the ulcer ) In all honesty I was terrified from the outset that Cassie may have to lose her eye due to the injury, but within moments of meeting Kate, my fears were allayed and Cassie was immediately admitted for corrective surgery. One week on from our initial consultation with Kate, and Cassie was speeding towards a full recovery. 3 months on and Cassie is in perfect health with two beautiful, clear and fully functional eyes. I am so impressed and grateful to Seadown for their professionalism, clinical expertise and wonderful bedside manner. I have a very reliable sense of intuition and have complete confidence that all animals under Kate's charge are treated with the utmost care and attention as if they were her own pets. Seadown are a wonderful example of how all vets should be in this country. I will continue recommending Seadown Veterinary Group to all of my clients. Thank you so much

We will never bring another dog to Seadown Vets after the devastating experience we had with them. Our one year old dog was admitted for a routine cherry eye procedure and we received a phone call one hour later to say he was dead.
While the cause of our dogs death is unknown, it transpired that he was muzzled without our permission (Seadown have acknowledged in writing that we did not consent to this) and we never would have allowed the procedure to go ahead had we been made aware of this. Our dog was excitable but also nervous and would have been in complete distress with a Baskerville muzzle on his face in our opinion the practice should have phoned us to advise that a muzzle would be necessary in order to proceed however we were not given the opportunity to object to it and never saw our dog again.
In Seadowns Animal Handling Rules policy it states: Information from the owner regarding any vices the dog may have, should be sought on admittance. Owners should muzzle their own animals if they feel it is a necessity. Clear instructions should be written on the admit sheet and kennel regarding the temperament of the dog.
We were never consulted on our dogs temperament when we admitted him and there was no mention of the use of muzzles either vocally or on their consent form. Seadown have stated that they will take this opportunity to review our muzzling policy and the wording of our consent forms, however nothing will bring our dog back and we will be bringing our beloved pets elsewhere in the future.
