The Cat Clinic is great. The staff are all lovely and very knowledgeable and friendly and it's always good to know the cats are in safe hands! Being a cat only vets makes it a lot less stressful to visit for our cats who get anxious around dogs. They saved our cats lives more than once, including when our cat had kidney failure. Luckily he pulled through, and it was down to the excellent care and advice the Cat Clinic gave us. The Pet Club is also good and saves money. I can't recommend them highly enough! Read Less

The service of the reception staff, and price (both of treatment and in store products) are excellent. They are only supassed by the knowledge of the vets - I am always surprised by how well they know my cat and their knowledge. Could not recommend them enough! We've seen the same vet everytime so Amna knows Ron's history well. Both receptionists and the vet make us feel very welcome and that Ron is in safe hands. They also pretty much sort out our Petplan claims for us and the pet club feels good value for money. Highly recommend. Read Less

I can highly recommend the Cat Clinic. I had my 2 cats with them until recently and they were extremely well looked after. The waiting room is nice and it (obviously!!) doesn't have dogs. They helped my very over weight cat get down to a healthy weight and we're always very helpful with diet advice and tips. We've only left the Cat Clinic now as we've moved a long way out of the area, but I can highly recomend them as a vet. Read Less

I first used the Cat Clinic when my last cat was very old and very ill. He had always found going to the vet very stressful and an environment just for cats and their owners was calmer and kinder. I could not fault the kindness of the staff as my cat received a period of palliative care before being put to sleep. When the time was right to get a new pet I got a kitten who I called George. From his first vaccinations and health checks George has been to the Cat Clinic. To date he has not been ill or needed any emergency care but he is registeeed with the Per Plan and currently is having his weight monitored. Whenever I visit or contact the Cat Clinic I'm impressed with the friendliness of the staff, the calm and welcoming waiting room and the expertise of the vets and nurses. I've u used the cat clinic since 2004. Wonderful staff and environment. I was forced to use another vet last year and it made me realise how good the cat clinic is. They have a monthly treatment plan that means you can spread the cost of flea treatment and wormer. You also get discount on treatments and products and even coast price hills food. Read Less

My cat was diagnosed here accurately and prescribed steroids. A month later the same symptoms occurred so we took her to another vet who said the diagnosis was correct but steroids was the wrong treatment and in fact made matters worse, this was 200+ wasted. They also wanted to do a blood test which they wanted 1000 for (this was why we went to a different vet). I've looked online and spoken to vets since as I thought this price was obscene and seemed to be plucked from thin air and they were all absolutely shocked at that figure which I'm glad to say I didn't pay. Unfortunately when my other cat was very young and had diarrhoea I agreed to a stool sample test, as I was (as any new parent would be) concerned by the slightest sign of illness. This was in excess of 400. The worst part of all of this was that the need to do these tests was always pressed as my girlfriend cried holding our apparently extremely ill kitten. The stool sample was pointless and came back negative. The blood test was not needed the diagnosis was achieved by the second vet doing a swab. I've since heard other people reporting the cat clinic having inflated prices. The vets themselves were always very friendly and caring but the business seems nasty and money orientated. Read Less

The Cat Clinic is an excellent vets practice. Friendly, very helpful staff and have always found them a wonderful place to go. They were fantastic with my two old men, Frank and Piglet, and when Piglet died they knew how upset I would be and were gracious enough to send me a card to say how sorry they were that he'd gone. We thought we would try them out as they are close to home, The reception was cold and kept us waiting- The vet was uninterested and condescending. We received much better service, for a few pounds more from Vets for Pets. We left there feeling insulted and with a bitter taste in our mouths. We will not be returning.Read Less

The Cat Clinic went above and beyond expectations when my little Amora sliced her back foot on something sharp in the garden...we were seen so quick and with 10 minutes before closing she was operated on . The Cat Clinic is very helpful and they are very patient to answer any queries as to my cat. Everyone in the Cat Clinic is very knowledgeable with the cat. Today my cat, Amee run away when I tried to put him into the cage to get vaccination. I had to ring to cancel the appointment, the cat clinic is very understanding and allow me cancel and also re-book appointment. Then my cat suddenly came back and I put him into the cage, then I rang again to ask for the appointment back, the cat clinic instantly accommodated us. Well, this is 5 star service. Many thanks! I've been taking my cats (first Minou and now Wyatt) to the Cat Clinic since August 2007. It's the perfect place for cats, as they won't be confronted by dogs in the waiting room. The vets are knowledgeable, friendly and give plenty of sound advice. The nurses and receptionists are helpful, as well as being sympathetic when the need arises. It always seems to be easy to book an appointment, even at short notice. If your cat is insured with Petplan and requires treatment, you just have to pay the excess at the clinic and they make the claim for you, which is ideal. I wouldn't think of taking my cat to any other vet than the Cat Clinic. Read Less
