I had to have my beloved cat put to sleep today after 19 years :-( Companion Care were not his regular vets, but his regular vets were unable to do a home visit soon enough. I called CC yesterday afternoon and was offered an appointment for this morning. I have to say that, as sad as it has been, Tomasz and Sarah who came to our home were super-kind, super-professional and super-appropriate in every way. It seems slightly odd to be praising someone for ending a life, but it was the kindest option for a very old and poorly cat, and they performed what needed to be done with both care and compassion.

Great service, open on week-ends, everybody is very friendly. They do all types of procedures in house, my dog had blood tests done and needed an operation on his knee. I felt very worried when he went lame, but after seeing the vet and having everything explained I went for the operation. My dog is a lab and he walked out on his leg the same day, as if nothing had happened. He still loves going there. I highly recommend these vets.

Fantastic Vets -all staff are so helpful and friendly. They are linked in well with pet insurance - partic. Pet Plan and can't be more helpful in sorting paperwork out for this.
They know my 2 cats t...
Fantastic Vets -all staff are so helpful and friendly. They are linked in well with pet insurance - partic. Pet Plan and can't be more helpful in sorting paperwork out for this.
They know my 2 cats too well and by name! - they both get into way too may scrapes. They look after and care for them well. Cant recommend enough.

I attended Companion care in London they were great, and then in Winchester for nearly two years I registered my cats they were really great cut the cat nails for free. But when i saw the male partner Finn he pointed out that I had not been to that vet... no service only free nail cutting he was not pleased and very focussed.He was outrageously rude with no diplomacy, he told me that Compare Care are independant and free to do what they like they are a joint venture... honestly my only concern was the cats...
There was a misunderstanding on the fees for vaccinations and he flew off the handle and made horrid accusations. Scaring my cat
cats at one point I thought he was going to kick the cats pen. I really was completely surprised. He also did not comply with regulations in supplying me with a certificate of the vaccination and expected me to pay.
Then he wrote to me placing fear that the cats could not be vaccinated at any other place. I did go to get the second shots when i insisted that he was not be anywhere near my cats he told me that he had to do it!
So if you want the stress from an extremely aggressive vet go there.
There are plenty of other vets in town who are less focused on and caring... give this one a miss...unless you see Betty she is genuinely nice.

I called CC yesterday afternoon and was offered an appointment for this morning. I have to say that, as sad as it has been, Tomasz and Sarah who came to our home were super-kind, super-professional and super-appropriate in every way. Great service, open on week-ends, everybody is very friendly. They do all types of procedures in house, my dog had blood tests done and needed an operation on his knee. I felt very worried when he went lame, but after seeing the vet and having everything explained I went for the operation. My dog is a lab and he walked out on his leg the same day, as if nothing had happened. He still loves going there. I highly recommend these vets.
