If you have guinea pigs avoid! They have no idea about exotic pets, but still give advice and treat on 'best guess.' An elective surgery of neutering ended in a very painful death for my guinea pig 2 months later. They missed the hernia caused by the operation and told me point blank there wouldnt be any post op issues when I came back when my piggy was in pain 6 weeks after. A simple search online shows that guineas need to be observed for up to 6 months post op as issues can occur! They had no idea. AVOID! Read Less

Our dog trusted us to look after her and we wished we had taken her elsewhere. We let her down and have to live with our mistake forever. We don't recommend

I have always regarded Baldock veterinary centre and its partner Royston veterinary centre at a very high standard and anyone who knows me will know why. I have a 19 month old Chihuahua cross whippet called Archie. At christmas time last year he became seriously ill. Things were touch and go for quite some time and I thought I was going to lose him forever. I personally believe that it is thanks to all the amazing staff that things didn't end the way I thought they would. Don't get me wrong Archie still has problems but he is healthy and in a stable state, you would think he is just a normal puppy. This veterinary practise has become like family to me and Archie, somewhere we can rely on and I would HIGHLY recommend any pet owner to go down and meet all those people who will be forever in mine (and Archie's) hearts.Read Less
