After a bad experience at a franchise Vet in Bedford, we were searching for a Vet practice which practised true compassion and was not just looking to fleece Pet owners for money. Thankfully we found Elizabeth Smith Vets, and found just what we were looking for. Everyone we have spoken to has been kind and knowledgeable, and we have never felt like we were being taken for a ride. Our pups wellbeing is always at the centre of their care. Our pup unfortunately began to show signs of reactivity following her first season, and everyone at the practice has been understanding and willing to go the extra step to ensure our girl is comfortable on her visits, including letting us hang around in reception or outside to desensitise her to the building, happily seeing her in the paddock or car, speaking to both owners on the phone about issues rather than having to bring her in each time and stressing her out, and offering desensitisation sessions with the equipment used at the surgery (which she is still too scared for, but we will get there!) Prices are fair and transparent, with no inflated prices or pushing for unnecessary tests or treatments. We signed up to the VIP Club which includes free nurse check ups, which have been a great source of relief for minor injuries or queries. The practice kindly pass on messages to the Vet Nurse or Vet via. email, and kindly review images or queries we have. I would recommend this Vet practice to anyone in the local area, and even further afield as it is truly worth the travel time to get there. Everyone who works at Elizabeth Smith should be proud of the practice they are a part of. Read Less

Unfortunately I am very disappointed with this practice. We were advised to book appointments with the same vet for continuity of care, however on multiple occasions when we have attended, we get put with a different vet.
