Called in urgently 1st thing with a poorly dog ‘Fleetwood’, my daughters dog who visited for the day on Thursday 6th Jan. Fleetwood was vomiting foam with blood specks and very listless… at 7 months old we had a cause for concern! He hadn’t eaten since the morning before or drank anything… sucking on ice cube even! Although A Poole informed us they were not taking any new patients they were incredibly helpful and immediately diagnosed a gastrointestinal bug. Having used A Poole as a vet for the past 16 years with my dog, I always rated them very highly and wound not hesitate in using them again with future animals. The vet Gillian (Head I assumed) was brilliant, efficient and extremely helpful. My dog Eddie needed emergency care after some eye trauma. Excellent staff. Fitted us in even though we weren't regular patients there and they were busy.
