We promise to do all we can to provide your pet with the best possible care and to make sure that you always receive friendly advice and support. We're so committed to this, we've put our Client and Patient Charter Pledges on the wall of our clinics.
Did you know, Medivet is actually a big community of vets, nurses and other professionals, giving you access to a great wealth of facilities and expertise? We're so committed to continuity of care across all our branches that we've made sure that the notes we have on all animals is available at all of our branches, all the time, via our high-tech, specially developed computer systems.
We promise that there will always be a veterinary surgeon available to look after your animal, day or night. We even have special 24-hour clinics in some areas, where vets and nurses are on duty all day and all night, every day of the year. These are our 24hr Continuous Care and Emergency Centres.
We volunteer to have all our clinics regulated by our governing body, the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons. Their Practice Standards Scheme ensures a consistently high standard of care, equipment and facilities for all our patients. Look out for the certificate awarded to your local practice, proudly on display!

I would never go back to this vets again took my poor cat that had been hit by a car we walked in and sat down we got ignored for over 45 mins and my can was in a carrier never got offered water or even asked if he was ok .
there was 2 girls walking around
when we got to see the vet a very young vet she was more interested in what we wanted to spend on him . I never had insurance . I spent £200 there on here just sending him out with tablets and the poor cat had broke his back in 2 places . I took him to pets at home were they were wonderfull never worried about money just saved my cat .

I have been with medivet risedale for in excess of 10 years. I cannot rate them high enough for being friendly or caring. Their extremely helpful and they go that extra mile on many occasions. I have 2 cats and 1 dog and sadly I had to say goodbye to her in 2015. To her the vets was her second home and she loved going there. The whole process of saying goodbye was extremely hard but to their credit all the staff were brilliant in what was a very sad day and I know that they care so passionately about all the animals that cross their threshold. I now have another dog who I rescued and was nervous but after a couple of visits she now loves going there too. I consider myself very lucky to have such a wonderful team looking after my babies because that's exactly what they are and I am never worried about leaving them there because I know they will always look after them as if they were their own. So Risedale. Kyumi Nicola Steph Sarah Rachael you are all awesome and do a brilliant job. I know you will always keep up the good work. Thankyou.

Three cats, aging from 16 to 3. One has an impressive pedigree, two are girls, two are grey, two are laid-back, two love Dreamies, one needs regular claw-clipping, one is over 6kg, one has Colitis, one has had a Thyroidectomy, one has been spayed... twice (before we owned her). They all have one thing in common; they get amazing care and attention from MediVet-Ark Aid, Poole. The staff are wonderful, warm, kind, thoughtful, knowledgeable and make one feel that one is the only client that matters. They truly go above and beyond to look after our beloved animals. I would have no hesitation in recommending them to another pet owner.

All the staff at the Risedale practice are friendly, compassionate & care about the animals & their human guardians. I always feel confident that whatever the problem they will know the right course of action & will deal sympathetically & have empathy with both the patient & owner. I have had quite a few cats over the years, who have had various ailments & some who have unfortunately had to be put to sleep, all the staff have been very supportive. Kyumi Mcdonald is a lovely & compassionate person & I consider her more as a friend as well as being a fantastic vet.

RIP OFF RISEDALE GO ELSEWHERE SAVE A FORTUNE!!
I took my dog Baxter to have a lump removed on his chest, was quoted 900, when i explained i had no insurance this was reduced to 750 (im sure insurance companies be interested in that). The lump was sent for biopsy and came back a a mast cell tumour (skin cancer).
3 months later another lump back down there to be told 750. If i did not have the biopsy could be reduced to 630. Still a lot of money to cut a little lump off so i decided to get another quote.
I went on facebook to ask recommendation for another resonable priced good vets. Everybody came back with The Vetrinary Clinic in leighton buzzard.
I went there and was quoted 110 to remove the lump and 60 for a biopsy so a total of 180. I asked how much would they have charged for the first lump and it would have been the same 180.
Risedale are a rip off charging 3 times as much as somebody else for the same treatment. I will never go back and i suggest before you agree to anything expensive with them get a second quote you will save

I adopted two kittens about six months ago and registered them with Medivet Risedale as it's a 10 minute walk from my home in Apsley. Since then, my little furbabies have had their vaccinations there and have also both been neutered and microchipped there, and I've been absolutely delighted with the staff (and the pricing, which is very reasonable). They don't push products on you and there are no hidden costs.
All the staff members are genuine animal lovers who are keen to show you photos of their own pets, and to talk about them at length. I also like the way they remember me and my cats every time I go in, but then my little Grendel and Freyja are pretty adorable so who wouldn't?!
All in all I'm really happy to have a vet close by that cares about animals as much as I do.

I have only just moved into the area of Apsley and needed to find a new vet for our most important family member, Sam. The neighbours really recommended the Risedale vet, so we thought we'd give it a go. Luckliy we haven't had any problems yet, so we just registered but it was clean and they looked professional. The nurses seemed to care and i felt that i could immediatley trust them.

I cannot praise the professionalism and care, that I have received from this practice, enough. When I took my pet pot bellied pig there recently I was amazed by the level of service provided.
They really seemed to care about the welfare of Tomlin and I would definately recommend this branch of Medivet to anyone. Medivet is the parent company, i think, and this lets them use their facilities, like in our case, to refer difficult operations to.
The after care was exceptional too, they even phoned to see how Tomlin was doing!!! I will be using this vets in future

I would never go back to this vets again took my poor cat that had been hit by a car we walked in and sat down we got ignored for over 45 mins and my can was in a carrier never got offered water or even asked if he was ok .
there was 2 girls walking around
when we got to see the vet a very young vet she was more interested in what we wanted to spend on him . I never had insurance . I have been with medivet risedale for in excess of 10 years. I cannot rate them high enough for being friendly or caring. Their extremely helpful and they go that extra mile on many occasions. I have 2 cats and 1 dog and sadly I had to say goodbye to her in 2015. To her the vets was her second home and she loved going there. I cannot praise the professionalism and care, that I have received from this practice, enough. When I took my pet pot bellied pig there recently I was amazed by the level of service provided.
They really seemed to care about the welfare of Tomlin and I would definately recommend this branch of Medivet to anyone. Medivet is the parent company, i think, and this lets them use their facilities, like in our case, to refer difficult operations to.
The after care was exceptional too, they even phoned to see how Tomlin was doing!!! I will be using this vets in future
