They were really good and helpful. I had a somewhat traumatic experience as whilst getting the cat carrier out of the car I managed to dislocate my shoulder? They offered to look after the cat and even offered to take me to A&E and I think they were more worried than I was! The cat was looked after really well and even given extra breakfast. Absolutely a fantastic surgery. Always been good to us and our cats , past and present. Looked after one of our cats after being run over with a broken jaw and pelvis. Sadly 2 years later had to be put to sleep due to a burst bladder. Forever grateful. Read Less

On the 18th July I had to call out an emergency vet to put my beautiful boy to sleep as he was in so much pain and it was the most humane thing to do. Unfortunately this vets was the only one who was free to it. The vet that visited and the nurse were amazing caring people. BUT the heartless manager Ms.T Swain made my while experience worse. What a nasty person.. Within 5 mins of Yoda falling asleep in my arms she's on the phone accusing me of not bothering to pay!! He was still in my arms you cruel person. Of course I was going to pay. Then she Mocked me wanting to have Mr Yoda put on his urn. ( That was his name ) Now I've only just got him home as they left a message on a answer phone saying he was there apparently and had been for ages! I don't have a land line. Now common sense would say to call the mobile that you called to demand the money. The reception Staff were also very caring. Absolutely horrible experience with Berry house. The manager Tamsin Swain doesn't deserve to hold such a position as she is heartless person. So thank you Tamsin for making my day even harder than it should of been. Lovely staff I had to bribe the reception staff to get my cat back they thought Rodney was so lovely they wanted to keep him. They make all visitors welcome no matter how many legs they have or if they have wings, fins or tails. Always friendly very helpful and informative which is why I will always return.Read Less

My cat has been with Berry House Vets for the last 2 years. From the moment you walk in to the spacious reception area (with separate sides for dogs and cats) you are greeted with a smile from the receptionists who are very friendly. We have been taking our lovely kitten Lady Bird to Berry House Vets since we brought her home in October 2015. All the vets, nurses and members of reception we have met have been so kind and gentle. The extra care given to kittens to give them the best start is really wonderful and they have provided us with excellent advice and guidance. My cat had his tail removed after an accident and I have to commend the surgery, he was treated with great kindness, and both the nursing staff and vets were very helpful and kind at a worrying time, especially as my cat was in pain and scared .He made a full recovery from his operation and although he has a truncated tail he is very happy! I visited Berry House with my elderly cat and after throughly examining her the vet felt she was suffering from arthritis. She was prescribed pain relief and joint supplements. She now has her sparkle back and is outside again enjoying herself. I would definitely recommend this vets we always receive a warm welcome and good service.Read Less

Been bringing my goldie girl here for a few years now & have always been impressed. Yesterday i had to bring my Cat in as an emergency - we knew it was serious & there was a chance the worst would happen. I was seen quickly & he was treated with the care & respect anyone would want for a loved pet. The options were gone through & decisions made - i was never made to feel rushed or overwhelmed. Sadly my boy was no longer for this world but i am forever thankful to everyone for the effort that was put in to save him & the care he was given. Berry House Vets have looked after my pets (both dogs, cats and rabbits) for the past 10 years. All the staff are extremely caring, efficient and friendly.
