I have been going there for many years (since 1982) and they have done a wonderful job for us of all our pets. Our two bengals have only just had to leave us at 17 years old, and the breeder where we bought a new little girl, was amazed, 12 years is their normal life span he told us. I've never had a problem with Attimore Vets since moving my two rabbits over last November from a different vets. The staff are very attentive and patient with you as an owner and your pets. One of my rabbits has an ongoing condition which the vet is always keen to recheck everything at each follow up appointment to note down any changes or response to medication. Ruth, one of the vets at the WGC branch is great with rabbits and I can tell she's enthusiastic about her job and always helps reassure me with any worries I have as well as giving plenty of snuggles to the bunnies. Absolutely brilliant experience, despite rather traumatic circumstances due to the severity of our cat's injuries, which required surgery (twice) and lengthy hospitalisation. We visited daily and we were able to see how devoted everyone was, how much everyone cared. We always felt welcome, always updated on what was happening, even at busy times. I've had great experiences every time I've taken my cats in. All of the vets are really friendly and you can tell they just genuinely love the pets they see. The nurses were great too when one of my days had to stay overnight. Always very happy to take my cats to see them! Read Less

Amazing and thoughtful vets at wheathampstead who have done everything for all the animals we have had over the years. Especially grateful for all their great care of my 6 rabbits who although where all very old I was extremely sad that it was their time to go. Even sending me a condolence card on 2 occasions. Never have been to this vet before but have just got a puppy and had to buy pup food sold here. Place looked filthy dirty but brought food and a puppy lead. Collar to small and they would not exchange it saying i should have brought my pup down... she has not had her second vaccination yet so cant take her out let alone take her to a place where loads of dogs are. Staff rude vet very rude ....will not set foot in the place again.... disgusting service!!!!! Read Less

Really don't understand how they can class themselves as vets?! My cat was taken in to them last week after being hit by a car and apperently she was completely fine when she clearly wasn't... Turns out she had bruised lungs, broken tail, dehydrated, paralysed bladder and missing front teeth. Didn't pick up on a single thing. Read Less

My beautiful 2 year old rough collie was given a Lepto 4 and DHP vaccination and spent the next week in hospital on a drip. I thought I would lose her. I suggest everyone looks at Facebook page 'Nobivac Lepto 4 Our experiences'. It's heartbreaking how many dogs have died and suffered terribly after having this vaccine. The vets will say it's a coincidence. Just read how many 'coincidences' there have been! They say take no notice of stuff on the internetare all these people lying?!!! PLEASE read the posts on the above site before having your dog vaccinated. The staff looked after Dixie well, but then they had caused the problem in the first place. I had a huge bill. Read Less

The staff care more about money than what they are there for, to look after our pets and treat us fairly. I'll never trust you to look after my pets again. You didn't have to worry Attimore, you got your 2000. Also to the (Spanish ?) vet that disbelieved what I said and made HER walk when it was very obvious that SHE was in pain and roughly put HER on the floor to walk, SHE is no longer with us. I hope your salary at the end of the month is worth it. And finally, SHE was a female so I'm not sure why all the staff, even after a very long and sad time, still referred to HER as a HE. I lost my dog 4 weeks ago to cancer, a breed well known for it. Every vet we saw had a different story to tell. No one even spotted the tennis ball sized tumour he had.. I did but it was too late. Then came all the excuses and lies.. to this day no one has had the decency to write back to us.. when things go wrong this company aka CVS won't give you the time of day but loved every penny of the £2000 bill ..
