We promise to do all we can to provide your pet with the best possible care and to make sure that you always receive friendly advice and support. We're so committed to this, we've put our Client and Patient Charter Pledges on the wall of our clinics.
Did you know, Medivet is actually a big community of vets, nurses and other professionals, giving you access to a great wealth of facilities and expertise? We're so committed to continuity of care across all our branches that we've made sure that the notes we have on all animals is available at all of our branches, all the time, via our high-tech, specially developed computer systems.
We promise that there will always be a veterinary surgeon available to look after your animal, day or night. We even have special 24-hour clinics in some areas, where vets and nurses are on duty all day and all night, every day of the year. These are our 24hr Continuous Care and Emergency Centres.
We volunteer to have all our clinics regulated by our governing body, the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons. Their Practice Standards Scheme ensures a consistently high standard of care, equipment and facilities for all our patients. Look out for the certificate awarded to your local practice, proudly on display!

Our experience with vets so far have not been good so we were very nervous...Entering Medivet was a whole new experience! The fabulous Alan handled our pets with such patience and care, checking every inch of them, and with an obvious true love for small furry animals. They were putty in his hands, and I have honestly never seen them so calm! Thanks so much for restoring our faith in vets, it's great to see someone who genuinely loves their job!

I have been with medivet risedale for in excess of 10 years. I cannot rate them high enough for being friendly or caring. Their extremely helpful and they go that extra mile on many occasions. I have 2 cats and 1 dog and sadly I had to say goodbye to her in 2015. To her the vets was her second home and she loved going there. The whole process of saying goodbye was extremely hard but to their credit all the staff were brilliant in what was a very sad day and I know that they care so passionately about all the animals that cross their threshold. I now have another dog who I rescued and was nervous but after a couple of visits she now loves going there too. I consider myself very lucky to have such a wonderful team looking after my babies because that's exactly what they are and I am never worried about leaving them there because I know they will always look after them as if they were their own. So Risedale. Kyumi Nicola Steph Sarah Rachael you are all awesome and do a brilliant job. I know you will always keep up the good work. Thankyou.

Wonderful caring vet Tahir who takes his time with worried animals who has a dislike to vets previously and builds their confidence up to trust him. Pippa is very caring and interacts with the animals also to make them feel at ease and to build their confidence up. Three cats, aging from 16 to 3. One has an impressive pedigree, two are girls, two are grey, two are laid-back, two love Dreamies, one needs regular claw-clipping, one is over 6kg, one has Colitis, on...
Three cats, aging from 16 to 3. One has an impressive pedigree, two are girls, two are grey, two are laid-back, two love Dreamies, one needs regular claw-clipping, one is over 6kg, one has Colitis, one has had a Thyroidectomy, one has been spayed... twice (before we owned her). They all have one thing in common; they get amazing care and attention from MediVet-Ark Aid, Poole. The staff are wonderful, warm, kind, thoughtful, knowledgeable and make one feel that one is the only client that matters. They truly go above and beyond to look after our beloved animals. I would have no hesitation in recommending them to another pet owner.

My dog Molly had treatment in the Carpenders park branch for a lump on her eye, she had it removed all seemed good regarding payment from the insurance then I was asked for 54.74 extra, why I asked when I was covered and had paid my excess of 80, it seemed they went for a very expensive HISTOLOGY test rather than the 62.98, rather than asking me if this was alright they tried to get it of my insurers, and they said they will not cover it, as it was unnecessary. I then had a nasty letter from Medivet saying this can't continue, and payment had to be made !!!!!!!! , I had never received a letter from then about any money, so I rang the branch at Carpenders Park and asked what was going on, the receptionist took the message and said she will look into it, nothing happened, so a week later went it there and asked what was happening, she took a message and said she will get back to me, again nothing, then Anna was on holiday so another message was left, why should I pay extra money for something that was NOT neccary and no one at this branch knew why it was charged, was unhappy and think I will be taking my 2 dogs elsewhere for treatment as I feel the trust has gone which is a shame as I have been going there for 6 years Not happy at all, I know you have to make money but really

Excellent communication skills by all members of the team. It feels as if you are receiving a personal service. I use 5 different vet practices that are not Medivet for different expertise e.g. livestock, avian, poultry etc. Vets (Natasha & Alan) always listen to your concerns and do not dismiss you. They also respond to phone calls. One of the other non Medivet practices I use take ages to return a phone call with lab results e.g. days/weeks. Get the feeling all the staff care about the clients and their owners. I do not get the impression they go home at night and forget the animals/birds who are staying in. Nurses and vets seem very dedicated. Always accommodating with issuing repeat prescriptions for us and arranging local Medivet practice collection as Radlett is 1 hour drive for us. Always keen to 'work up' a patient at their initiation or mine, unlike some of my local general vets.

Disgusted willing to charge a pensioner nearly a thousand pounds for a beloved cat with no alternative advice when all the cat did was sprain his back leg they were willing to do every single test going, hence before their lovely warm foreign holiday with no thought to how my father was going to struggle, not one single bit of advice given accept from receptionist " well I hope he can pay" licience to print money vets, with no sincere help.

We recently got a kitten and opted to take her to medivet in radlett as it is within walking distance. From the moment of making that first phone call we have been made to feel very welcome and pepper loves her vet natasha. Everyone we see wether it is staff or fellow pet owners you are made to feel special and you also great great advice & top quality service.

I highly recommend this town centre Radlett practice having experience of others , this is run for the animals !
I am new to the area and arrived with 5 cats from abroad , one of which had a lump which turned out to be an aggressive cancer tumour in a relatively young cat .
The genuine care and flexible approach , in depth explanations were of great help and all the team including the receptionist /nurses are extremely friendly and also very efficient . Alan the Veterinary surgeons who treated my cat , is very dedicated and really cares . Alex Swindells . Radlett .

I have been with medivet risedale for in excess of 10 years. I cannot rate them high enough for being friendly or caring. Their extremely helpful and they go that extra mile on many occasions.
