Oakwood Veterinary Surgery

General Info
A pre-existing veterinary surgery bought by Wood Street Veterinary Hospital in November 2000 and has been providing exceptional veterinary care since then. We are an accredited Tier 2 practice as set by our governing body the RCVS (Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons). Our main hospital in Barnet offers emergency cover outside of our normal consulting hours, and is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Phone lines automatically divert so no need to memorise another number in an emergency.
We are also a Registered Training Practice for Veterinary Nurses.

The staff from reception to vets are wonderful people, very helpful and go out of their way to ensure you and your pet are happy. Despite only bringing my puppy in twice so far, Hannah remembered her and didn’t even need to take my surname. We have tried many vets in the St Albans area and this place is by far the best. Highly recommended!

My beloved pets have been part of Oakwood for over 8years, I had a very poorly pup several years ago and the hospital were incredible to get her back to full health. We get a warm welcome on every visit and unfortunately for me had to use their wonderful services on Christmas Day at the main hospital Woodstreet, again the act of quick thinking by experienced vets saved my dogs life, all staff are really lovely, I couldn’t recommend them more

I have 3 dogs and have never needed to use there vets in the past for anything serious. In the last 3 months 2 of them have needed X-rays or specialist treatments. The staff are amazing, so friendly a...
I have 3 dogs and have never needed to use there vets in the past for anything serious. In the last 3 months 2 of them have needed X-rays or specialist treatments. The staff are amazing, so friendly and kind and the care they are given is second to none. My dogs love going to see them and being spoiled .Thank you.

Fantastic vet, always manage to book an appointment when it suits me, my dog doesn't like it there very much but they always make him feel welcome and put up with his barking!! Highly recommend!

I changed Veterinary practice to Oakwood and cannot fault the service. The Staff are all so friendly and they looked after both of my dogs - Heidi and Tara

My beloved pets have been part of Oakwood for over 8years, I had a very poorly pup several years ago and the hospital were incredible to get her back to full health.
