Took my puppy to be spayed to this vet after her own vet recommended them as they do keyhole surgery. I have never been so impressed with a clinic before. The service was fantastic and my puppy is doing really well. The staff are amazing and go up and beyond to make sure pets are happy and cared for. I travelled from London to this vet. The price was amazing and the service was incredible. Thank you so so much.

I've been with Springwell for nearly 2.5 years and recently had a horrible experience. If you're looking for a vet, I would steer clear away from them.

I've been with Springwell for nearly 2.5 years and recently had a horrible experience. If you're looking for a vet, I would steer clear away from them.
My dog suffers from gastro issues and earlier this year Springwell advised that I switch her food to Hills Ideal Balance grain free. She took quite well to it; however, I soon discovered the food was discontinued the year prior. A detail the vet should've been aware of at the time! Out of desperation, I switched to Hills Science Plan but I was concerned that it wasn't a suitable alternative because it contained grain. I contacted Hills but they required to speak to my dog's vet before providing advice due to her history of gastro issues.
Springwell took nearly 2.5 weeks to speak to Hills. In the meantime, Springwell advised switching my dog to a completely different food. My dog threw up the entire contents about an hour after eating it. She then refused to eat anything for days. At this point, Springwell told me to come in and see the vet. The vet gave her a drug that was supposed to make her eat and provided some gastro food. The drug didn't work and she refused to eat the food. When they finally spoke to Hills, it was concluded that it was best for my dog stay on Hills Science Plan - which is what I had switched her to at the start!!!
Springwell's lack of urgency in contacting Hills and providing me with a poor alternate food is the reason my dog became so ill. They're currently denying any fault in the matter and demanding I pay for the vet visit. There's a serious lack of care that their negligence caused my dog to become ill in the first place which I find completely unacceptable and I expect you will too which is the reason for sharing my experience.

I love Springwell's. They are such nice people, always willing to put themselves out, to explain things in a way I understand & to repeat themselves as often as I need, always willing to fit me in in an emergency, know their stuff, always consider alternatives, always look after pets well & consider them as people.
My cat is not scared to go there & I know he is in the best possible hands & he will be happy & not traumatised when I collect him, which is, I think, the best recommendation anyone could have. 💗

My daughter made the decision to have her GSP spayed. I have recently had keyhole surgery and thought that this method, if available, would be the kindest option.
I was staggered at how few vets offer this and did some research and found Springwell Vets - I was not disappointed.
They are a extremely caring practice and offered a lot of good advice that was never forthcoming from my present vet.
Needless to say the operation went well and within a few hours the dog came home and is now recuperating - you would never guess that she has just had an operation.
I can't recommend this practice highly enough - they are marvellous!

Christiana is a great vet! I am not local, but am so impressed that I take the time to drive 40 minutes to have my dog treated at Springwell. A genuine surgery , great nurses and excellent vets.

Our dogs and rabbits receive exceptional attention here, everybody truly seems to care, rather than just doing the what is needed to then be able to then present you with a bill. A friendly, professional team who best of all, work quite late into the day meaning we can get there after work in an evening without having to rush over there in a panic. When our dog was spayed laparoscopically we were even texted photos to show her in recovery! How many vets would do that?!

I had a dog named Nero who was sadly put to sleep, but when he was alive he had an operation that was covered by Healthy Pets Petbook, one of the stipulations of his insurance was that he was allowed 30 days free nutrition, this was all signed off by Healthy Pets Petbook when I was at the reception of Springwell Vets who witnessed this conversation. When it came to paying the bills Healthy Pets Petbook reneged on this and subsequently lost the transcript of the conversation I had. I put a formal complaint in to the FSA and has now been found in my favour, but because of the fact of Springwell Vets putting their own greed before the needs of a greiving dog owner, i'm now left with a County Court Judgement which trying to fight with Luton County Court and dealing with over stretched staff is a nightmare and could of been avoided if Springwell had listened rather sending it to a debt collector.

We have been with this practice since 1988. They are wonderful and caring. Both Patrick Dale and Gavin the vets and their staff are knowledgeable and efficient. Over the years they have helped us with emergencies and saved our beloved Gordon Setters from deaths door at times. It is only after 11.30 am Sat morning and Monday morning that emergencies need to be dealt with elsewhere. I have every faith in their care and could not recommend them more highly.

My daughter made the decision to have her GSP spayed. I have recently had keyhole surgery and thought that this method, if available, would be the kindest option.
I was staggered at how few vets offer this and did some research and found Springwell Vets - I was not disappointed.
They are a extremely caring practice and offered a lot of good advice that was never forthcoming from my present vet.
Needless to say the operation went well and within a few hours the dog came home and is now recuperating - you would never guess that she has just had an operation.
I can't recommend this practice highly enough - they are marvellous!

I had been looking for a professional, caring and kind vets and Springwell are it! Christiana the vet is very gentle with my nervous dog. She is very knowledgeable and a true animal lover. Christiana is a great vet! I am not local, but am so impressed that I take the time to drive 40 minutes to have my dog treated at Springwell. A genuine surgery , great nurses and excellent vets.

Our dogs and rabbits receive exceptional attention here, everybody truly seems to care, rather than just doing the what is needed to then be able to then present you with a bill. A friendly, professional team who best of all, work quite late into the day meaning we can get there after work in an evening without having to rush over there in a panic. When our dog was spayed laparoscopically we were even texted photos to show her in recovery! How many vets would do that?!

I had a dog named Nero who was sadly put to sleep, but when he was alive he had an operation that was covered by Healthy Pets Petbook, one of the stipulations of his insurance was that he was allowed 30 days free nutrition, this was all signed off by Healthy Pets Petbook when I was at the reception of Springwell Vets who witnessed this conversation. When it came to paying the bills Healthy Pets Petbook reneged on this and subsequently lost the transcript of the conversation I had. I put a formal complaint in to the FSA and has now been found in my favour, but because of the fact of Springwell Vets putting their own greed before the needs of a greiving dog owner, i'm now left with a County Court Judgement which trying to fight with Luton County Court and dealing with over stretched staff is a nightmare and could of been avoided if Springwell had listened rather sending it to a debt collector.

I was so impressed with how friendly and helpful all of the staff have been and how you seem to really care about making William better. We have been with this practice since 1988. They are wonderful and caring. Both Patrick Dale and Gavin the vets and their staff are knowledgeable and efficient. Over the years they have helped us with emergencies and saved our beloved Gordon Setters from deaths door at times. It is only after 11.30 am Sat morning and Monday morning that emergencies need to be dealt with elsewhere. I have every faith in their care and could not recommend them more highly.
