We turned up on the doorstep with, what turned out to be, a very sick dog. Gareth and his team treated us calmly and with huge compassion, delivering devastating news clearly and carefully. They enabled us to have precious time to get home and say our goodbyes. We will always be grateful that The Old School Vets were the nearest.

Amazing vet great service all the staff are very welcoming and patient. I have a pup that's fear aggressive to strangers and they handle him great! Nice shop also with large selection of reasonably priced toys beds leads etc . Fairly priced as well. Highly recommend.
Feel I must add and update , I wish I could leave a review for every visit , what a gem of a vets we have here on the island they just go above and beyond. They work so hard and tirelessly to care for our aninals day or night can easily get ahold of them when needed. Gareth and his team are outstanding, so calm , experienced and patient . Thanks again for all you guys do , simply cannot fault the practice or staff !

on a recent holiday in Scotland we needed to take our beloved boxer girl to the Vets after a bout of sickness. Gareth and his team were absolutely brilliant and couldn’t fault them, did everything and more.
We had to call them out at 3:30am, Gareth and Nicola met us at the practice, they were second to none.
Could not recommend this Vets highly enough.

Feel I must add and update , I wish I could leave a review for every visit , what a gem of a vets we have here on the island they just go above and beyond. They work so hard and tirelessly to care for our aninals day or night can easily get ahold of them when needed. Gareth and his team are outstanding, so calm , experienced and patient . on a recent holiday in Scotland we needed to take our beloved boxer girl to the Vets after a bout of sickness. Gareth and his team were absolutely brilliant and couldn’t fault them, did everything and more.
