Absolute sharks. Avoid at all costs. Diagnosed my dog with an illness she didn't have and charged the earth for medication she didn't need. Went to Eastgate vets and had a much better experience.

I have been coming to this practice for almost twenty years and they are second to none. Whether it is a routine checkup to a call out for a broken paw, the vets are here for your pet. The staff are so friendly and obviously love animals too. All the vets are so professional and very knowledgeable. When my cat was injured with a broken pelvis I was able to visit and comfort her - the pet comes first. I can’t recommend this practice highly enough.

On more than one occasion we have rushed our cat to the surgery to receive emergency medical care. The most recent on a Saturday evening. They were honest regarding cost upfront (being out of hours) but couldn't of been more helpful! All 3 occasions required quick attention which we have always got from crown. They are flexible with appointments which is handy when Tue outdoor cat doesn't come home for her appointment . They are all wonderful, we can't praise them enough. We also have our new puppy at the surgery and couldn't fault them.

Yet as our bulldog was struggling to come back round and breathe again by himself the only thing the vet could tell us was she wouldn't be there all night! We moved down to Inverness a few months ago, and Crown was recommended by our previous vet. Sadly, since moving, our 11 month old cat started having seizures/fits. Sara has been amazing with her and very reassuring to us, as it's been frightening for us to see the wee one go through that. Sara has gone above and beyond, even phoning us after her shift ended to check how Ash was doing, and calling us with suggestions of how we could try to reduce the stress of travelling to the practice for appointments, as that also sets the fits off. We had a minor issue with medication which was very quickly resolved as soon as I pointed it out, and again Sara followed up with a phone call later on to check up on Ash. All the staff we have met have also been lovely - friendly and smiley, and we would definitely recommend Crown Vets (and especially Sara) to anyone.

Opp went ok then some problems arose, several procedures were performed and my boy settled, after hrs I was informed by a European vet that" bosun was deteriorating and there would be nobody to care for my dog overnight" not a place to leave your dog fighting for his life!!!!... I have since asked for a min by min description of the procedures that took place, which I have not received.. I eventually recieved a call from said European lady to say bosun is suffering and can I have your permission to put him to sleep, which by the way was 9pm just about time to get home to eat

In these days of the pervasive blame culture, and unpleasant suspicion of everyone's motives, it's really refreshing to report a genuinely kind deed. Today an elderly lady, who lives alone but for her little dog, Gypsy, was forced to go into hospital. Gypsy had nowhere to go and couldn't stay in the house on her own. Despite exhaustive efforts we weren't able to finds a temporary home for her. In desperation we telephoned Crown Vets in Inverness and spoke to Alistair. When we explained the situation Alistair agreed to house Gypsy for 48 hours with no charge. More, he agreed to go to the lady's house and collect the little dog. We were hugely relieved and thought that was the end of it. Some time later Alistair sent us a text saying he had successfully collected Gypsy and she was safely back at his surgery. What can I say? It's Sunday. Alistair turned out and took the wee pooch in expecting no payment. You're a star Alistair, and you have rescued what could have been a very difficult situation. Sympathetic, understanding staff who made the passing of my beautiful chloe yesterday much easier. I can not fault the service I have recieved with all three of my animals. But the beautiful, caring way my dogs passing was handled yesterday was second to none. From the receptionists (whom I cried on the phone to just now) to the wonderful lady vet who carried out the procedure, to the wonderful jo who gave me a much needed hug after the heartbreaking event, I can not thank you all enough. Yesterday was heartbreaking. But you all helped me, my husband and most importantly my beautiful chloe to let go peacefully.

Sara has gone above and beyond, even phoning us after her shift ended to check how Ash was doing, and calling us with suggestions of how we could try to reduce the stress of travelling to the practice for appointments, as that also sets the fits off. We had a minor issue with medication which was very quickly resolved as soon as I pointed it out, and again Sara followed up with a phone call later on to check up on Ash. All the staff we have met have also been lovely - friendly and smiley, and we would definitely recommend Crown Vets (and especially Sara) to anyone.

Disgusting vet practice, took my dog for an ulcerated eye scrape and In growing eye lashes! Never thought I would never see him again!
Opp went ok then some problems arose, several procedures were performed and my boy settled, after hrs I was informed by a European vet that" bosun was deteriorating and there would be nobody to care for my dog overnight" not a place to leave your dog fighting for his life!!!!... I have since asked for a min by min description of the procedures that took place, which I have not received.. I eventually recieved a call from said European lady to say bosun is suffering and can I have your permission to put him to sleep, which by the way was 9pm just about time to get home to eat

In these days of the pervasive blame culture, and unpleasant suspicion of everyone's motives, it's really refreshing to report a genuinely kind deed. Today an elderly lady, who lives alone but for her little dog, Gypsy, was forced to go into hospital. Gypsy had nowhere to go and couldn't stay in the house on her own. Despite exhaustive efforts we weren't able to finds a temporary home for her. In desperation we telephoned Crown Vets in Inverness and spoke to Alistair. When we explained the situation Alistair agreed to house Gypsy for 48 hours with no charge. More, he agreed to go to the lady's house and collect the little dog. We were hugely relieved and thought that was the end of it. Some time later Alistair sent us a text saying he had successfully collected Gypsy and she was safely back at his surgery. What can I say? It's Sunday. Alistair turned out and took the wee pooch in expecting no payment. You're a star Alistair, and you have rescued what could have been a very difficult situation. Sympathetic, understanding staff who made the passing of my beautiful chloe yesterday much easier. I can not fault the service I have recieved with all three of my animals. But the beautiful, caring way my dogs passing was handled yesterday was second to none. From the receptionists (whom I cried on the phone to just now) to the wonderful lady vet who carried out the procedure, to the wonderful jo who gave me a much needed hug after the heartbreaking event, I can not thank you all enough. Yesterday was heartbreaking. But you all helped me, my husband and most importantly my beautiful chloe to let go peacefully.
