I contacted New Era Hospital 06/05/17 to seek advice on my beagle dog who had been in labour for 24hrs. The advice I was given gave me the confidence and valuable information, to enable me to assist, calmly in the actual birthing process. I was very touched to receive two follow up calls from the surgery, to check how everything was going. Coco Roche gave birth to 5 Beagle pups weighing in on average 300g each. Two were born feet first, she only needed a little help with two pups and breaking the sacks on three pups. The first was born at 10pm and the last at 01.00hrs, all live births. I would like to thank all the staff particularly, Amanda and the nurse who contacted me, not forgetting Ben, Margaret in the office, and all the Team, who show such care and interest in all the animals who attend the surgery. It is very reassuring to know our animals are in such safe hands. THANK YOU Sheenagh Roche Read Less
