I have used many different vet practices along the years and cinque port vets have been the absolute worst, completely incompetent, only interested in our money and unfortunately our poor dog never made it out. When we complained, they made sure to cover their tracks and denied all responsibility. Avoid at all cost.

Very bad vets. Half the time, after being put on hold for ages, I get cut off. They overcharged me then when I asked them to put the money back in my account they said they had used it to pay £15 to process the insurance claim without telling me they were going to charge me to do so. When I questioned it they said all vets charge for that. It was an online form. Also, having seen the vet on Fri night and being told he would be fine with just pain killers, the subsequent infection led to a very costly out of hour vet visit who left a note for the vet saying my cat needed to be given anti biotics "asap". The made me wait till afternoon and classified it as a repeat prescription. I had to phone three times to get them. These receptionists don't care about patrons and were rude when questioned. Worst vet I have ever been to. I was 12 years with my previous vet and never charged to process an insurance claim. I have now joined another surgery who also do not charge for this. Would not have been so bad if they had not over charged me and used the extra money without my consent. Unbelievable!

Simply the best vets ever!
Simply outstanding!!!! Daisy, our beautiful staff cross had become very poorly with an acute renal injury. We thought we would lose her. The vets and all staff here looked after her and treated her with exceptionally high levels of care and expertise. They were also great about keeping us updated. Basically after 9 nights having to stay there in order to get well, the staff came out with her to say goodbye to her and to wish us well. They had cured her. Thank God that there are professionals like these people out there who really, honestly care about the animals they treat. My little dog wasn’t another number to them, she was important and my family and I cannot praise them highly enough. Kind, caring and professional. Our nervous little girl didn’t want to leave!

Can honestly say this vets is shocking and clearly thinks people have more money than sense and that we're all stupid. Took my animal there and they didn't care about its well being it was all about how much money they could extract from me. First visit cost me £300 and was then told maybe it would be a good idea to let them do major surgery and place pins in the leg at a further cost of over another £1000 (all this for a bit of a sprained ankle) i said no chance and guess what with plenty of rest and care my pet has made a full recovery ! all i wanted was them to apply some support (bandage) to her leg they wouldn't do that (no money to be made there) instead they wanted to extract cash by whatever means possible even at the cost of an animal suffering needlessly. This is what pays for their fancy cars outside and houses. watch for the pathetic pasted apology after this review.

Very rude staff. Incompetent short term thinking management on top of that.
They lost today our custom, and we have a few pets.
they tried to charge us for a stamp on a pet passport without telling us cost upfront. Each time they came up with a different excuse, never apologised, and when ask if they want to lose customers they don't reply. We always paid on the day and thought intelligent to send us letters asking for money and not saying what it was about. they are plenty of others vets in Ashford.

I cannot recommend this vets highly enough. I called the OOH in the early hours of Wednesday morning when my cat Marmalade came home very distressed and breathing rapidly. He was treated within half an hour and kept in for a couple of days. I was able to visit him to see his progress and give him some of his favourite treats. I was kept fully informed of his treatment and how he was doing. I collected him after 2 days and the difference from the cat I left at the vets is amazing. All the staff there are doing a fantastic job and I cannot thank you enough.

Very helpful vets and great with my staffie leon and always very affectionate towards him ,unlike some vets who seem to have not alot of time for this breed , the staff are always ready to help over the phone as well , and don't try to steer you in for the expensive option every time . We trust these vets 100% .

The vets long experience and knowledge saved my dog life when a undiagnosed disease was killing her, they recognised and treated the rare disease before it was to late. After a week of 24h care at the vets I was uninsured but I didn't need to worry about a shock at the end of the treament as I was told daily her progress and the cost ,which was very reasonable

Thank you all so much for your support and guidance this weekend. Despite it being a long BH weekend Dr Watson did everything she could to advise and monitor the situation. Her judgement and clinical care and on-going monitoring was absolutely spot on. She possesses an increasingly rare quality among professionals to discuss options for intervention while clearly outlining the risks and benefits of each, allowing the owner to come to an informed decision. Follow-up was appropriate and timely. We are tremendously grateful :-)

I have used many different vet practices along the years and cinque port vets have been the absolute worst, completely incompetent, only interested in our money and unfortunately our poor dog never made it out. When we complained, they made sure to cover their tracks and denied all responsibility. Avoid at all cost.

Very bad vets. Half the time, after being put on hold for ages, I get cut off. Simply outstanding!!!! Daisy, our beautiful staff cross had become very poorly with an acute renal injury. We thought we would lose her. The vets and all staff here looked after her and treated her with exceptionally high levels of care and expertise. They were also great about keeping us updated. Can honestly say this vets is shocking and clearly thinks people have more money than sense and that we're all stupid. I cannot recommend this vets highly enough. I called the OOH in the early hours of Wednesday morning when my cat Marmalade came home very distressed and breathing rapidly.
