We have used Eagle Vets from the day it opened but never again. We have had dogs for 46yrs and when the time comes to say goodbye it has always been made as painless as is possible until today!! Unfortunately we had to take little Max down his time had come, He was taken in by a very sympathetic Nurse to prepare him as they were going to give the final injection in the back of the car in order that we could be with him we could hear him screaming from outside when they eventually brought him back out he had a muzzle on he has never had to wear one in all of his 13 years, When given the injection he screamed the Vet had gone back in telling my wife it would take about 20 minutes to fully work Max was in so much pain he was trying to get out of the car eventually he quietened down the Vet came out said he had gone. Never in our 46 years as dog owners have we had one suffer like this.
We still have one Alsatian and will be moving him to another Vets as soon as is required.
I am considering what further action I can take as this was just not acceptable. My wife and I are still traumatised by what we witnessed as were at least three other people waiting to see the VET.

I can't fault their care for animals, my cat has a kidney problem and they wanted her to stay in for 24 hours to give IV treatment, she intact stayed in 2 days as they wanted to make sure she was properly hidrated. Their care for her and all the other animals is the best one can hope for

We received a condolence card today from the wonderful team at Eagle Vets. They went above and beyond to help my 10year old GSD who suffered from EPI for the past 6&1/2 years. We lost him 6/2/17. George let us have as much time with him as possible. We were always warmly greeted and after weekly/monthly trips for 4years Prince loved coming to the vets, especially when Steph gave him treats. Thank you for the amazing job you all do.

All the vets, nurses are excellent. I feel confident in the staff and the care and treatment provided and that is very important. I feel listened to and things are explained well. When I've been an over-worried fur mum I have been given reassurance. The reception staff are excellent too. I think the practice is outstanding and I can't recommend it enough.

2 days after my Pekingese Lulu had given birth with no complications to 5 babies she became unwell and started to stumble. It was a Sunday - we called the emergency number and Debbie was on call. She ...
2 days after my Pekingese Lulu had given birth with no complications to 5 babies she became unwell and started to stumble. It was a Sunday - we called the emergency number and Debbie was on call. She met us at the surgery 30 mins later as we had to drive from Margate. By the time we got there Lulu seemed to be going into shock. I really thought I was going to lose her and have 5 newborn babies to keep alive ! Debbie took control immediately and found that there was still one placenta that had not been expelled. An injection to contract the womb was administered plus a steroid. Within minutes Lulu was recovering and by the time we left the surgery her eyes had begun to twinkle again. 3 years later I have a very healthy and happy family of Pekingese. Without Eagle Vets wonderful care it could have been a very different story ! THANK YOU.

This isn't written demeaning other vets but Eagle vets are the ones I find absolutely caring, thorough and friendly. They always greet your pets, even the lovely receptionists, who are so busy! they always have kind words for you, if is's a sad situation where your pet has to go to Rainbow Bridge, they never rush you, although they are busy! We have used Eagle Vets from the day it opened but never again. We have had dogs for 46yrs and when the time comes to say goodbye it has always been made as painless as is possible until today!! I can't fault their care for animals, my cat has a kidney problem and they wanted her to stay in for 24 hours to give IV treatment, she intact stayed in 2 days as they wanted to make sure she was properly hidrated. Their care for her and all the other animals is the best one can hope for

All the vets, nurses are excellent. I feel confident in the staff and the care and treatment provided and that is very important. I feel listened to and things are explained well. When I've been an over-worried fur mum I have been given reassurance. The reception staff are excellent too. I think the practice is outstanding and I can't recommend it enough.
