Loveliest staff ever. I came in with my mad spaniel and my three month old baby and they did all they could to make it an easy visit for me (it's never particularly easy with a restless baby). One member of staff even moved my car for me at one point as I had my hands full and someone needed to get out from in front of me in the car park. Fast forward a few weeks and I had to call them up unexpectedly as I thought the dog had broken his tail (joys of owning a spaniel that won't stop wagging it and loves darting in and out of undergrowth). They saw me that evening before they closed and sorted us out. They make a lovely fuss of our dog each time and that makes a big difference. He's a massive tart and loves attention and I have been at practices before where they aren't like that and it makes you wonder if they even really like animals that much! I always think it is really important for dogs to have positive experiences when they see the vet and Briar House provides that. Thanks guys. Much appreciated.Read Less

i unfortunately did not feel i had a very good service since this practice has been taken over, my cat had to go in and unfortunately didn't make it, i was called and given 10 minutes to make a decision to operate on her or not as she was already sedated for the x-ray it was so hard to make a decision that quick and unexpectedly. But she did not pull through, i said i would collect her to bury her in my garden however i couldn't come till 4:30 i phoned three times to find out the final bill but no one could tell me over the phone. When i went to collect her they bought her out into the waiting room in front of other people didn't take me into a separate room as you can imagine i was heart broken and had to share that with people i didn't even know, i felt embarrassed at a really upsetting time for me then to make it worse when i got the bill which i knew would be alot but for me to be standing at the desk with my dead cat then then them to say that's 850 do you want to pay now or later i just felt there was no respect for the fact that Millie was a loved part of my family and i felt that i was treated like another customer coming out of a shopping mall no sympathy or care to what was a really distressing and upsetting time for my family just a thank you goodbye. Also to add while i was waiting in the waiting room on one visit the lady behind the desk took a call i was listening there was a lady confused by the medication she had been given it turned out she had to bring back what she had been given as it was wrong ! also another reason i will not be returning to this practice should i ever have another family petRead Less
