Used out of hours service tonight as my dog had hurt his leg. They were absolutely fantastic. From the moment I rang (in tears) they were so kind, caring and amazing. They also looked after my beloved Mollie, who was so so poorly. The care she received was beyond 5 star. The staff genuinely want to help and love and respect the animals they care for. Thank you xx

Amazing staff who really, truely care about animals. We were seen straight away, after coming in as an emergency, with no appointment! Juni was operated on straight away and we were home later the same day. Vanessa the vet who operated on our dog is a star and a truely wonderful person i would 100% recommend her and this vet hospital! she really cares for your animal and puts their needs above everything else including profit! This amazing lady helped us immensely with the costs, keeping them as low as possible for us. Thank you so so much for everything you have done for us, we are so so grateful our lil man is on the mend 💗 from Juni and his family xx

This is the only out of hours vet so you pretty much have to go there unless you get can wait until the next morning to take your pet to your own Vet which we unfortunately couldn't !! We knew he need...
This is the only out of hours vet so you pretty much have to go there unless you get can wait until the next morning to take your pet to your own Vet which we unfortunately couldn't !! We knew he needed to be put to sleep before we got there and what was already a traumatic experience was made even worse by the Vet continuing to speak about whether the forms should be completed before or after he was "euthanised" and what did we want to do with his remains? Remains? He hadn't even left us yet.We didn't have a choice but to go there but it would not be through choice again. Staff need to work very hard on their tone and be a great deal more sympathetic and not be so concerned about the £ sign.

I had to take my Old English Sheepdog here for a cardiologist refferal. We was seen by Chris and he was absolutely fantastic. He explained everything perfectly and took excellent care of my gorgeous dog. I was very scared and upset but he put my mind at rest as best he can and was just generally brilliant. He took such great care of my dog. The receptionists were all lovely and helpful too. Highly recommend to everyone.

I took my cat in for radioactive iodine treatment and was hugely impressed with the whole experience. A clean surgery, a pragmatic and professional vet who involved me fully in treatment decisions and discussions, a friendly reception team, and caring vet nurses who really went out of their way to accommodate my cat (who is a bit of diva, bless her). Couldn't be more delighted with the service and the care. Nice job, Barton :)

this company has been treating our Dog for 11 months under our pet insurance ! they told us that our pet insurance would fully cover all treatment for the first year our pet stayed in Barton For only three days for observation and a heart scan, he was discharged after three days with medication . we took him to 4 follow up check up that lasted no more than 5 minutes each time, and was given the drugs to treat his condition. today we have been told we are to pay an additional 1700 !! as PPI will only pay up to 3000 . so then a grand total of 4700 for just what i have just listed at no point did this vet or p p insurance notify us of this problem and they just kept Running up a huge Bill . we will never use this company Ever Again ! extortionate appalling misleading people .

I booked an appointment for my pet who i knew was very ill and i had stated so on the phone. They found time for me first thing the next morning, however after the examination all the vet could say was that my animal was clearly very ill (as i had pointed out) but they didn't know how to treat her! to which they charged me for the privilege! this is the second time i had visited and been charged with no help at all. We agreed they would phone and get a referral for me but didn't hear back until a complaint was made the next day by which time it was too late. If you have an exotic pet, or any pet for that matter, i can not stress enough that you question any vet you go to before booking an appointment.

I had to take my Old English Sheepdog here for a cardiologist refferal. We was seen by Chris and he was absolutely fantastic. He explained everything perfectly and took excellent care of my gorgeous dog. I was very scared and upset but he put my mind at rest as best he can and was just generally brilliant. He took such great care of my dog. The receptionists were all lovely and helpful too. Highly recommend to everyone.
