I cannot recommend the Oaks highly enough. I have been taking my dogs there for the last 11 years. In all that time Poppy and Buster (who is sadly no longer with us) have never had anything but the best treatment and care. Everyone, receptionists, nurses and vets have always been wonderful not only to my beloved dogs but also to me, helping me with advice and comfort when I have had to make difficult decisions. Today I trust them implicitly to do their very best for Poppy as she grows older and she is always treated with love and care by everyone on our visits. I've visited Christmas Lane vets a few times recently with Barney, my Golden Retriever puppy. He had vaccinations, surgery & also had to go in because of sickness problems. Every single person here has been fantastic looking after him, from the welcoming receptionists to the friendly nurses and vets. You can really see how proud everyone is of the job they do & they love our pets too. Barney even got invited back just to say hello I know some pets are really frightened of the vets, but I definitely recommend Christmas Lane. My dog has died in front of me as a result of a vets incompetence. Blood test results suggested infection but she was never offered iv antibiotics. The infection spread into her body. I literally watched her deteriorate every day but vet was so blinkered in diagnosing one thing, she missed what was right in front of her. If you are not happy, trust your instinct and get a second opinion before it's too late Read Less

I accompanied my friend to the Oaks veterinary Surgery Lordswood for her labradoodles 1st puppy health check. I found the front of house and nursing staff most welcoming, caring and professional. Even being offered a refreshing drink, whilst waiting. Lovely afternoon there and promptly made an appointment for Crystals flea and worming treatment. Read Less

I would just like to say how pleased I am with the staff and my experiences at The Oaks. Having recently moved into the county, it is so difficult to find a vets that you trust to look after your little ones. The reception staff are so welcoming, friendly and helpful. The nurses are professional and knowledgable. The Vet that I have seen on a number of occasions, Sarla, showed incredible knowledge and understanding. Sarla issued my Hollies Pet Passport which enabled us to take her on holiday to France and Spain. The overall experience was painless and trouble free. As I said, we haven't been in Kent long and the Oaks is our third vets since moving here. We are very happy with the Oaks and we hope to be using them for a long time, even Hollie enjoys going there and gets especially excited at the staff on reception. Read Less

Seem to like generating money for the business. Had a dog that was treated for the wrong illness very costly, paid for a private scan very costly that didn't show a tumour that eventually killed the dog. I do not like this vets. Read Less
