No doubt they will remove this post but till they do Please, Please, Please ensure if you use this vets that you know what you are getting, ask questions like how competent is the person looking after my pet. My friend Maureen lost her 3 year old Scottie on Sunday and she has posted his story only for Facebook to remove it so here’s a copy of it share as much as you can please as this cannot be allowed to go on a vet just reregisters themselves after they did a botched procedure, this is not acceptable how many times has this happened here in the UK and elsewhere in the world. This has been removed once so lets write it again…
My scottie dog went into animal House Herne bay to be castrated, as a responsible dogs owner.. It was a simple straightforward operation which needed just 3 sutures..THIS was not done correctly..The vet told me “he had had a small bleed” at this point Bear was bleeding right out when I saw him..
They panicked opened him up, and in the mess that followed They clamped the wrong tube and Bear subsequently lost a kidney, crashed twice on the table, and for 2'5 years that followed we tried everything to get him well..
That was an impossible mission as in emergency surgery last Saturday my vet found a medical swab left behind from the castration..It had adhered to all major organs, embedded itself into his abdominal wall, causing pain like mad….
He survived just 8 days post this last surgery, admitted into hospital twice in that time, at the vets twice….The second op resulted in kidney failure..
They may have changed their name, they sold out a month after this happened..But new name, new sign counts for nothing when the same vet works there still today…
Once AGAIN the RVCS have got all the details, will they action this time, or sit back and allow this medical disaster to happen again, so another dog suffers, and another family lose a much loved family member… JUSTICE FOR BROGAN…. Read Less
