This is a great practice that focuses on the best treatment for the animal and also cares about the fate of wildlife. The vets are knowledgeable & not just about profit making. When I called regarding an injured wild bird they took the time to put me in touch with a wildlife rescue service, after offering to look the bird over. My dogs have always been treated promptly and accurately and actually don't mind going to the vet. Read Less

The customer service at this veterinary clinic is absolutely shocking for what I'd expect to be a professional business. I unfortunately had a very young kitten pass away 2 days after taking it to this vet after being worried about the fact that she was not gaining any weight and wasn't nursing well. They told me there was nothing wrong with her, despite having a very low weight for the kitten's age. I understand that vets can't detect everything, and I don't blame them for the kitten's death. What's really shocking is how they treated her death. When we found the kitten limp and not breathing, we rushed her up to this vet only to have our fears confirmed. We were told we had the option of having her cremated, which we went for and paid a small fee for. We were told by the receptionist we would get the ashes back. We were later contacted on the phone by one of the managers telling us he would get back to us with the individual cremation prices. We were a bit confused by this, but waited for him to get back to us, which he never did. We were told she was going to be cremated on Wednesday, but heard nothing back 2 days since then. We contacted the vets only to be told we were never charged for receiving the ashes, despite what the receptionist told us, and that we agreed to a communal cremation, which we were never told until today. I find this to be absolutely disgusting and clearly openly lying to us when I have voicemail evidence and a bank statement that prove otherwise. If this had been a pet we had for years I would seriously be considering attempting to sue this disgrace of a veterinary clinic. I can't comment on their other services, and despite it being very local, I definitely won't ever be using this veterinary practice again. I've frequented a number of different clinics before in my life, and I've never been disappointed until my experience with this clinic. It's completely shocking and just plain heartbreaking. I would suggest to anyone that has a pet unfortunately pass away, to take the body home and bury it, or find some other place to cremate the body, as this clinic cannot be trusted. Read Less

very disapointed, this vets used to be good before it employed loads of youngsters, they now cant give a hoot as they are all to busy being important, my dog was dying of cancer and not the sore throat they said she had, she is no longer with us and the lack of effort and the waste of 4 days before i took her to a real vet left me feeling let down as im sure my dog suffered. this place was great when they had half the staff but now its seems to much for them, same as they are a nice lot... on a second note, my mum took her dog there to have her nails clipped, they cut straigth throught her wick and she bleed lots, my mum had to wait for 40 minutes for the bleeding to stop and was then charged the full rate, she was shocked so she paid it...come on you guys pick your standards up or get someone in to take chagre..
