I would NOT recommend this vets !!! Took our bunny to an emergency appointment today . We did not have the money to pay for all the costs which would of had to be done , so we asked if we could pay monthly or daily or just anything to keep our bunny . But the vets bluntly said we had to make the choice there and then (to be signed to them ) . I then called up to talk to a member of staff to ask if my bunny did survive and they’ve told us we can’t know anything and they gave us the option to get painkillers when we went to the vets so we could of decided. they NEVER gave us that option and now my bunny’s gone ! I’m so disappointed in this vets and will never be returning !

We have been using Ramsgate Veterinary Surgery for more than 20 years. They have seen all eight dogs, two cats, gerbils and even my granddaughter's Degu. The vets have been there for us at the beginning of our pets' lives and inevitably at the end of them too and we have always found them to be professional, helpful when making tough decisions but most of all caring. We wouldn't go anywhere else.

Our Bruce was in so much pain didn't know what was wrong took him to Plunkett s and the first thing he did was give him an injection for his pain and Valium to calm him down then checked him had x ray and had disc disappearing on his spine . The Vet was so caring and explained what was wrong and what we can do. The nurses were so good with him they all seemed so caring. Thank you so much xxx

After advising this company that I had Animal Insurance I believe that I was grossly over charged especially after speaking to other pet owners. I was charge 798.16 and was advised by other vets that ...
After advising this company that I had Animal Insurance I believe that I was grossly over charged especially after speaking to other pet owners. I was charge 798.16 and was advised by other vets that their charges would have been about half. My dog had a blocked tummy because I was feeding her with human food, biscuits bread etc. and became bunged up as a result. The vet kept her in a kennel for 3 days and did nothing to her as she started clearing her bowls on her own. I paid 100.00 in advance and my Insurance company paid the balance except for about 30.00. Which they are now demanding.
My advise to anyone with an animal needing to see a vet. Steer Clear if you don't want to be totally ripped off.

The vets have been there for us at the beginning of our pets' lives and inevitably at the end of them too and we have always found them to be professional, helpful when making tough decisions but most of all caring. We wouldn't go anywhere else.

Sadly last Saturday we had to have our cat Lily put to sleep due to a stroke, Plunketts you were amazing, you were sensitive and considerate not just to our needs but to Lily's as well, she was warm, comfortable and with myself and my husband when she slipped away. This morning in the post we unexpectedly got a card from you saying how sorry you were for our loss, very touching, thank you so much.

We wouldn't use any other vets - our family have used them for decades and when got our Dylan dog it was an easy decision for us. The staff are friendly and kind and I love that the vets aren't interested in the humans - just the animals and they're honest with you. The animal is the top priority which is exactly as it should be.

Our Bruce was in so much pain didn't know what was wrong took him to Plunkett s and the first thing he did was give him an injection for his pain and Valium to calm him down then checked him had x ray...
Our Bruce was in so much pain didn't know what was wrong took him to Plunkett s and the first thing he did was give him an injection for his pain and Valium to calm him down then checked him had x ray and had disc disappearing on his spine . The Vet was so caring and explained what was wrong and what we can do. The nurses were so good with him they all seemed so caring. Thank you so much xxx

After advising this company that I had Animal Insurance I believe that I was grossly over charged especially after speaking to other pet owners. I was charge 798.16 and was advised by other vets that their charges would have been about half. My dog had a blocked tummy because I was feeding her with human food, biscuits bread etc. and became bunged up as a result. The vet kept her in a kennel for 3 days and did nothing to her as she started clearing her bowls on her own. I paid 100.00 in advance and my Insurance company paid the balance except for about 30.00. Which they are now demanding.
My advise to anyone with an animal needing to see a vet. Steer Clear if you don't want to be totally ripped off.
