Expensive like most vets but actually passionate which is important in a vet and local to us. Unfortunately the vet suggested taking a sample from our cats lump on its neck to find out what the lump was which ultimately spread the cancer quicker/made it more agressive which is what it was in the end obviously - (cancer) but a vet should inform you of this being a possibility of what could happen and know this before carrying out samples. We should of known taking a sample (cutting a small part from the lump) would spread the cancer quicker but you don't think of this at the time but a vet should know this and inform you of this from doing this all the time. I cannot recommend the Oaks highly enough. I have been taking my dogs there for the last 11 years. In all that time Poppy and Buster (who is sadly no longer with us) have never had anything but the best treatment and care. Everyone, receptionists, nurses and vets have always been wonderful not only to my beloved dogs but also to me, helping me with advice and comfort when I have had to make difficult decisions. Today I trust them implicitly to do their very best for Poppy as she grows older and she is always treated with love and care by everyone on our visits.
