Will be switching vets. Have found the reception staff very unhelpful, was needing to top up a vax and missed the time period - phoned twice to be sure that it was worth coming in, both times they couldn't answer question and said they would call back and didn't. I brought two very stressed cats in and was immediately told that the vax wouldn't work as I was a couple weeks out. The waiting room is just one room and so the two stressed cats were in a room with very large dogs. Was there longer than I wanted to be as they couldn't find the right records as the records are in the cats' names, and they misspelled one of the cats' names and have two records for the same animals. As well, I paid over £200 in April, they lost the record of it, and have harassed me for it, although I paid on the day and have the proof. Also, when using out of hours vet in Bexhill, although there for an injured cat, he was more concerned with selling me high priced flea spray to fumigate my house in December which wasn't necessary. Incompetence galore - although the vet who saw my cats was very nice. Shame that reception can't sort themselves out. Read Less

Recently had our much loved family dog of 16 years put to sleep at this surgery. I found them very unsympathetic more interested in our discussing disposal of the dog and cost whilst she was still alive in the surgery gasping for breath. We had previously been with Chase vets for more then 20 years before it had been taken over and never owed them a penny. Making a decision to put your dog down there and then is not a easy one. She has been part of our family for so long discussing money is not something you want to do as she lay by your feet waiting to be put out of her misery. A phone call the following day would have been appreciated or least wait until she was put to sleep before we discussed finances with looking up at us during her final moments. very sad. Read Less
