IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR ANIMAL AND WANT COMPASSIONATE PEOPLE DO NOT GO HERE!!! On two separate occasions with two different dogs I have been shocked and appalled at the lack of empathy and sheer stupidity of the staff. My dog was hit by a car and died and when I was rushing from work to get to the vets I rang them and the first thing the lady said to me was "Well if you want to take her home she is in a bag in the freezer"!! I have no words for what kind of person would say that to someone who has just had their dog die. The other occasion was actually the vet (who you would think would have slightly more brains or at least experience dealing with people who have had a pet die). As our German Shepherd was being put to sleep he was prodding him all over telling us that he has cancer here there and everywhere, literally as he was falling asleep. I am absolutely gutted that my family took the dog that had been hit by the car to this vets surgery, unfortunately it is the closest vets to where she got hit. I am confident that if she had been taken to a different vets she would have had much better care and possibly a better outcome.

I come to this vets everytime my cats are in need of a vet BUT TODAY! The vets are amazing they do a lovely job ! ... but today I got lied to over the phone and me and my dad also got humiliated by the receptionist and also got told the manager is not happy that We brought our injured cat to the vets when we have no money when I rung up at 10am and explained my situation and I made some sort of agreement to pay them on the Thursday and they was happy about it on the phone ... the moment we get down there we get accused of being liars and also getting told next time we come in with my injured cat and have no money they will turn my cat away ! That's disgusting !

In my opinion Ewen is a great vet & is always extremely good with my very large Leos. They love him too, even enjoy their visits to him. I cannot fault him with all his care for my dogs over the number of years that he has treated them. He has been compassionate & supportive at all times, especially when helping my fur babies over to Rainbow Bridge as their time came. His home visits were invaluable when my girl had a large litter of 14 pups, along with Nurse Laura, who kindly took 2 of the weaker pups into her own home for 'Intensive Care' treatment, which was such a great help for the pup's mum and me! I cannot recommend Ewen and the team at Borden Lane Vets highly enough.

I cannot fault him with all his care for my dogs over the number of years that he has treated them. I take my dog to Borden lane and all the staff are fantastic. Everyone is very friendly and always there to answer any questions. They also show lots of care towards Cooper when I take him in.

I've been using Borden Lane vets for 20+ years now. The care and attention my pets get is second to none, the reception staff are really friendly, knowledgable and helpful and the vets themselves go above and beyond to ensure my animals get the treatment they need. I would thoroughly recommend them here.
