Avoid the place by all means! On 28th of October 2017 I had booked a consultation and an X-Ray in Priority Lodge Vet for my limping kitten. But because they had no X-RAY slots same day, an hour later I cancelled the appointment and went to Pet at home surgery and had an X-Ray same day and took further actions to help the pet (examination cost was £10 cheaper as well). Of cause I called Priority Lodge and apologized for the booking cancellation - we wanted to have a screen same day. However next day we were surprised to see an RSPSA officer at our place, accusing us in not wanting to treat our ill cat. These guys reported us just because we had cancelled a booking with them, and as I understood later from a phone conversation with one of their receptionists - it is a normal practice for them to report their customers, who they suspect. Please avoid the vet if you dont want to be reported every time you cancel an examination with them. Ildar Read Less

I am truly surprised by any negative reviews, as Priory Lodge vets are excellent. We have been with them for what must be 14 years now, since we got our first kitten, and they have dealt with everything from the usual annual inoculations to literally saving a number of ours cats lives. They have saved a cat with a liver problem that could, and probably should have been the end for him, diagnosed and treated a cat with cancer, which meant he lived until he was 11 years old rather than only 18 months old, and currently they are treating a cat with asthma with a new therapy that hopefully might mean she can have a less stressful life. Dirk, Ruth, Abby (and William Swift until he retied) the nurses and the team are great, and I would recommend them 100%. They do not "rip you off", as you are paying for people who go above and beyond! Read Less

Thoroughly disappointed with the greedy attitude at this vets. The Doctor who examined our Jack Russel's skin complaint insisted on performing several tests which i now believe were entirely unnecessary. Imagine my surprise when i went to pay the bill for what i thought would be a 30 pound consultation and it turned out to be 130 pounds. Any Doctor worth their salt should have been able to diagnose ringworm without a battery of expensive tests or at least warn of the cost before proceeding. Add to this an extortionate bill for writing a prescription not to mention the quoted cost of the medication if bought at the surgery. Needles to say I will be buying the medication online and looking for a new Veterinary surgery. Read Less

Had my pet cat treated here recently and unfortunately he made his last journey there in a hurry as he had a cardiac arrest :( Staff at the vets treated him with dignity and respect in his last moments and were sensitive throughout. Later my pet dog had to be rushed to the vets with a sudden illness and they immediately put her under without messing around and saved her life as a result. Same good communication and compassion as before. Couldn't have asked for a more professional staff. Thanks! Read Less

I know of many people that think all these reviews are sometimes edited, well I can safely say this one is real. We have never met a team like the team here. To say they are excellent is an understatement, full of compassion and professionalism even through tough and challenging appointments.
