The staff that I spoke to were lovely until I spoke to a receptionist at 3:05pm today about collecting my cat. Unfortunately, I ended up in a situation where I needed financial assistance through a lovely charity. When I called at 3:05pm to get a time to collect my cat, the receptionist gave me what felt like a lecture on making sure my cat didn't eat ornamental grass again because of what it cost the charity. I am well aware that I have used funds from a struggling animal charity and will try and make it right but I had already spoken to the nice vet about what they had found in his throat (three blades of ornamental grass) so didn't need a lecture about making sure it didn't happen again because of the cost to the charity. Unfortunately, I cannot force my neighbours to dig up any ornamental grass plants so bar making him an indoor cat (which i wont as cats are meant to go outside), I am not really sure what the point of the conversation was if not to lecture me on something I already feel bad about (taking money from a charity). I have now taken out pet insurance so I don't have to ask for their help again. It is a very embarrassing position to be in and I found this receptionist very rude. Read Less
