We would like to thank the staff that were on duty early on Easter Saturday morning for the efficient way they liaised with the Royal Veterinary Association hospital to ensure our dog, Sooty, had the highest standard of care in an extreme emergency. Had to visit this practice while we were at our caravan in Whitstable as our dog had a sore swollen paw. We were seen within an hour of calling on a Saturday morning. The vet John Brown was the most caring and helpful person and we came away with the appropriate medication. I happened to mention that Ozzie had a problem with his eye and automatically he said he would refer us to the vet opthalmologist in Barham. It was all arranged for a time that we could be available as we are not always at Whitstable as it is our holiday home. Hence we had the appointment today and all went well with the consultation and Ozzie has yet more medication and thankful that it is treatable.Read Less

I just want to say a BIG thank you to all at Animed for their help & support throughout the last 25 years, they have never let me down despite all the challenges I have brought them over the years & not just dog & cat! Last week was a bad one for me as I had to make the hugely upsetting decision to have all 12 of my large chickens euthanized. They had a really bad virus that was spreading faster than the plague and even with treatment they could have remained carriers and we would never have been able to have egg laying chooks again. I had to protect my ducks goose & bantams when this horrendous decision was made, but all the troops at Animed were so supportive, I even recieved a beautiful card from them this morning...made me cry! Been with Animed since 1983. We have had several dogs, cats, fish, lizards over the years. All have been treated with the greatest respect. They are excellent vets, very good value for money and I would not go anywhere else. The receptionists are always very pleasant and helpful. The vets and nurses always explain everything.
