Our dog Harley was taken to Ashley vets after he was knocked down. The staff have been great with him and us. He is still being treated by them as his back paw was badly damaged in the accident. All there after is money ..They charge you consultation fee . Then ask you too come back and charge you again . Friends of mines dog was put too sleep when distraught owner was leaving they chased him too car asking for the money..explaining that he didn't have cards and would pay when he got home , the phone was ringing when he went into his house ..Avoid this place at all costs !!!!! As a rescue animal, he can be nervous and easily spooked but the staff always know exactly how to soothe him. Ashley vets is the best veterinary surgery I have ever been to and I have had pets my whole life. I recommend this Vets to anyone, the owner Doranne Ashley is the main vet and surgeon, and this lady knows her stuff. She is so very kind to the animals, even when they do not want to be her friend, and a bonus she is very understanding with silly pet owners like me. As you would enter Ashley's you may be greeted by vet nurse Kim who is excellent at her job, where she meticulously goes about the filling your complimentary lifetime vet history card to fill in on every visit. They will always remember you here and your pet by name which is really quite rare in this day and age even at a vet centre. They are ever so friendly, and will squeeze you in and stay late if you are really in trouble with your most precious pet. Ashley's is the best place you could ever take a four legged member of the family for first class treatment from start to finish. A little point of advice, try not to make your appointment at rush hour because roads on to this vets can get very busy around that time. Do not let this put you off, it is worth the wait and the travel time just for that piece of mind. Read Less
