This is an excellent vet's surgery. I am the human companion for two complicated cats, and have been registered with Hyndland St Vets, on and off, for 14 years (the on and off part is only because of house moves, nothing to do with the service).I've been here a LOT. Like I said, complicated cats. The first thing I always notice is that the surgery is very clean and well maintained, so there is no fear that kitty will pick up something unpleasant from the examination table or floor. It's a small space out front, but they've done well with it. Let's call it a 'boutique' veterinary surgery. The front desk/vet nurses are lovely. Real animal lovers, who are so patient and tolerant. We were in last Saturday, several times for various reasons, and on our afternoon visit, I noticed that the woman on reception had a different uniform on from her morning attire. I remarked on this, and she responded 'yeah, I got pooed on', with no sense of regret or misfortune. She then told me all the details about the lovely wee dug, and what a great dog he was. No grudges either. I guess being pooed on must happen all the time. They're good with stressed out humans too. The vets that I've seen have been great - I absolutely trust them, and have felt so reassured that my kitties are being expertly looked after. I also like the other customers - you never sit in awkward silence here - it's the sort of place where you chat away about your pets and comfort/reassure/laugh with each other.Overall, a fantastic vet's surgery - your beloved pets are in safe hands here.
