I brought my previous dog to the avenues and now my new puppy but I'm not as happy with them recently. Vets wise, Charlie and Tracey are fab and very compassionate but the reception team leave a little to be desired on occasion. I've had one girl loudly chastise me for letting my puppy get cold (I had put him on the table for a minute and then back inside my coat again) and another argue with me repeatedly when I tried to express that I was unhappy with something that had occurred. Additionally I was overcharged and despite repeated attempts to resolve, I am fobbed off or nobody calls back. There are some really good staff and generally, good care but just a few incidents that have upset me and made me consider moving to another vet.

I've used this vet practice for more than 20 years and always found them friendly, professional, and balanced in the advice they give. However, their response to the recent Covid-19 restrictions is faultless. In the interests of safe distancing measures owners are not able to go into the consulting rooms now. However, if a pet has to be euthanised, they have set up an out door space that is private, sheltered and quiet, where the owner can be with their pet at this very difficult time. Today I had to have my old cat euthanised. The set-up proved sensitive and unrushed, and overall less upsetting than the more traditional set-up in the consulting room. Caring above and beyond for both pet and owner. Thank you.

Many employees but lack organization, I asked the price of the vaccines on the day I made the appointment of the consultation, and was charged more than the combined amount. Thanks for the lesson, starting today, all kinds of budget will be in writing. And if they can not manage a financial that involves numbers, it is difficult to work with the health of pets.

Staff are very friendly and helpful. Nicola is one of the most kindest friendliest vets I have had the pleasure of knowing. The team were most helpful and careing when I had to put my collie Oscar to sleep. Nicola done everything humanly possible to help him and when the time came was very sympathetic and did not rush us to say good bye Oscar's last hrs were with people who spoilt him rotten and we are extremely grateful for that. I have been with The Avenues Vets for around 4 years now. This is the first time I have had anything wrong with my dog apart from the usual vaccinations etc. The vets and nurses took great care and attention in looking after my dog and making sure he received the best medical care. He is recovering well after his operation and is much more comfortable and back to his old self now. Thank you again.

My family have used Ronan at the Avenues for over 30 years, this week we were devastated as we had to make the decision for Ebby (17 year old Black Lab) to cross the rainbow bridge, the avenues made this as comfortable as possible for her and our family. We can't thank enough for the love and care she received whilst being so ill during the festive season. She'll be sorely missed and will always have a special place in our hearts. I've been with this veterinary centre for a while now and they're generally good with the service they provide. I've had the misfortune to have had a particularly bad run in with them when they provided my pet's ashes following cremation despite being told several times that for mental health purposes we wouldn't be taking them and that it would be ill-advised for them to be mentioned. They still tried to provide the ashes despite this, leaving the one who went to get them distraught.
Conclusively, they're good at what they do but more attention needs to be paid when communicating with customers.

I've been with this veterinary centre for a while now and they're generally good with the service they provide. I've had the misfortune to have had a particularly bad run in with them when they provided my pet's ashes following cremation despite being told several times that for mental health purposes we wouldn't be taking them and that it would be ill-advised for them to be mentioned. They still tried to provide the ashes despite this, leaving the one who went to get them distraught.

We would just like to thank Ronan, Nicola and all the staff for the care and kindness shown to Poppy after having a lump removed last month. She became rather poorly after the the surgery and everyone did their utmost to make Poppy as comfortable as possible. We really appreciate everything you did and thanks to you she was back to her normal self within a few days. We would highly recommend Avenues to anyone looking for a great veterinary practice.

Would like to say thank you to all the staff at the Avenues for the care given to my cat Socks throughout September. He was very poorly at the start of the month and when I brought him to the Mount Florida branch when he wasn't even registered, he was seen to straight away and within 5 mins he was being sent to the other branch to be treated. Couldn't thank you all enough and I'm very greatful to have him back at home and on the mend.

This is the main branch of the vets that my wee pooch attends. A few years ago we were referred to this vet as my boy had a small tumour and I wanted a 2nd opinion. I felt my own vet was not listening...
This is the main branch of the vets that my wee pooch attends. A few years ago we were referred to this vet as my boy had a small tumour and I wanted a 2nd opinion. I felt my own vet was not listening to my concerns however the staff in here could not have been nicer.They listened to me and heard my concerns and ran the appropriate tests and it turned out my fears were justified. My boy had pre cancerous cells in the tumour.He was quickly booked in for surgery and received the best care and the staff were lovely when I (post nightshift) bawled my eyes out whilst handing him over and signing the consent form.Your pets are definetly in good hands here.

I have 3 Cats, 2 of which are 19yrs old. I cannot praise Nicola & her team enough, they are amazing with my animals. Nicola always takes time to explain things, which is so helpful when you are concerned about a loved animal. My older Cats haven't been well recently and kindness was shown at every visit. I would recommend both their Veterinary Centres to anyone looking for the best service and care for their animal.

I brought my previous dog to the avenues and now my new puppy but I'm not as happy with them recently. Vets wise, Charlie and Tracey are fab and very compassionate but the reception team leave a little to be desired on occasion. I've had one girl loudly chastise me for letting my puppy get cold (I had put him on the table for a minute and then back inside my coat again) and another argue with me repeatedly when I tried to express that I was unhappy with something that had occurred. I've used this vet practice for more than 20 years and always found them friendly, professional, and balanced in the advice they give. I have been with The Avenues Vets for around 4 years now. This is the first time I have had anything wrong with my dog apart from the usual vaccinations etc. The vets and nurses took great care and attention in looking after my dog and making sure he received the best medical care. The avenues have looked after my little dog Miley since we took her in at 6 weeks old, I cant thank everyone enough for the great care they take of her and more recently after the birth of her 6 beautiful puppies, we kept 1 little Kai and he had his 1st injection yesterday and they made a fuss of him and looked after him so well, can't rate them highly enough.

My old dog Jess was terrified of going to the vets...this changed completely when I took her to the Avenues. My new dog Fallon is a drama queen in the ailment department and she gets over the top excited with a trip to the Avenues. From the puppy parties to the caring and knowledgeable colleagues...they really are the greatest. Thank you for your efforts to keep all our furbabies healthy. X

My local vets for my old cat and new. Very nice people and accommodating sue to evasive cats. They will always have my custom as long as I have a pet because of the professional and respectful servic...

We would just like to thank Ronan, Nicola and all the staff for the care and kindness shown to Poppy after having a lump removed last month. She became rather poorly after the the surgery and everyone did their utmost to make Poppy as comfortable as possible. We really appreciate everything you did and thanks to you she was back to her normal self within a few days. We would highly recommend Avenues to anyone looking for a great veterinary practice.

A first class practice and the best staff ever. I've lost count of how many times they've helped our boy and at the same time, helped put our minds at ease. I can't recommend them highly enough.

Would like to say thank you to all the staff at the Avenues for the care given to my cat Socks throughout September. He was very poorly at the start of the month and when I brought him to the Mount Florida branch when he wasn't even registered, he was seen to straight away and within 5 mins he was being sent to the other branch to be treated. Couldn't thank you all enough and I'm very greatful to have him back at home and on the mend.

You will find the very best kind of people at the avenues vets! can't do enough to help you and you're furry babies, I'd never take my dogs anywhere else! I always find the bills very reasonable too ....

This is the main branch of the vets that my wee pooch attends. A few years ago we were referred to this vet as my boy had a small tumour and I wanted a 2nd opinion. I felt my own vet was not listening...
This is the main branch of the vets that my wee pooch attends. A few years ago we were referred to this vet as my boy had a small tumour and I wanted a 2nd opinion. I felt my own vet was not listening to my concerns however the staff in here could not have been nicer.They listened to me and heard my concerns and ran the appropriate tests and it turned out my fears were justified. My boy had pre cancerous cells in the tumour.He was quickly booked in for surgery and received the best care and the staff were lovely when I (post nightshift) bawled my eyes out whilst handing him over and signing the consent form.Your pets are definetly in good hands here.

I have 3 Cats, 2 of which are 19yrs old. I cannot praise Nicola & her team enough, they are amazing with my animals. Nicola always takes time to explain things, which is so helpful when you are concerned about a loved animal. My older Cats haven't been well recently and kindness was shown at every visit. I would recommend both their Veterinary Centres to anyone looking for the best service and care for their animal.
