Been with this practice for 22yrs under the care of Neil Taylor & the nurses of which Julie is I think longest time nurse We have had three rescue staffies which were cared for with compassion 'til the end. We now have 6yr old Billy a live wire little terrier who keeps us on our toes !! I can't say enough about this practice and we live in Heywood some way from Bolton we could walk to local practice but we've got the best so don't want the rest. We switched to this vet when our beloved dog Mackey was very ill and we wanted a second opinion before we decided if it was time to let him go. We went from phoning to register with them to seeing a vet here in less than an hour! Other vets we'd taken him to before seemed like they were just going through the motions but the person here was able to give us straightforward, caring, clear facts. Other vets had just wanted to run more expensive and unpleasant tests that would€ve led nowhere and only caused our dog more suffering. This vet had a lot more experience and knowledge. He seemed like someone who was born to be a vet. He was able to explain the situation in a caring way. Unfortunately it was too late for Mackey but at least we knew it now. Putting him to sleep was done with dignity and compassion and we were given all the time we needed even though the place was busy. The price was fair and we weren€t charged for the consultation, just the procedure. A few days later we also a received a "sorry for your loss" card even though we€d never been a customer with them before that day. Can't recommend them enough based on our short visit and would take our new pets there.

I've taken my pets to Vetcare Bolton for more than 10 years and quite frequently the latter end of 2016 with my staffy Brandy who sadly died before Christmas. We moved to Atherton almost 3 years ago but still continued to go to Bolton. We've just got a new addition to our family and there was no question in my mind that we would take him anywhere else. Rosanne, Sarah and Neil are amazing and we have complete faith and trust in them all that they will always do the best for our pets and us

Vetcare are the best veterinary practice anyone could possibly wish for. I have been a client for over 30 years and would highly recommend this practice. They offer a top class service with vets, nurses and support staff that really care about the pet and their owners. The service they give to all of their customers is top class customer & pet care, I use the Leigh, Hindley & Bolton Surgeries and have received the same top class service from all, thank you Chad, Neil and all the gang for the service you provide. Over the last 25yrs all of my cats have been treated at Vetcare Pennington. My latest has just been spayed & the treatment by the staff is wonderful whether it's a sad time or a routine procedure.

I took my ferret Trixie to get spayed and was a little worried about her the vets explained everything before hand and called me to explain what to do before she goes the staff where very polite and friendly and afterwards explained what I needed to do to take care of her until she heals they also booked me in for a check up appointment 2 days after and the cost was very reasonable, in the future I will definitely be coming here again as I'm sure my pets will be cared for in there hands

We recently decided to take our 6 month old puppy on holiday to France. We understood she needed a Rabies Jab and a Pet Passport. We rang around for quotes and the total cost quoted at Vetcare Bolton...
We recently decided to take our 6 month old puppy on holiday to France. We understood she needed a Rabies Jab and a Pet Passport. We rang around for quotes and the total cost quoted at Vetcare Bolton was a quarter of the price being quoted by a chain of Vets owned by a well known pet superstore. The process was carried out swiftly and efficiently and I found all the staff to be friendly and helpful.
We were not registered with Vetcare Bolton at the time. Needless to say we are now registered with them and will use them from now on.
I think a lot of the larger chains of Vets have highly creative charging structures.

Been going to vet care for about 13 years now, when my dog went blind the owner chad was the only person that found out what it was, archie my blind king charles still sees chad on a regular basis and he is amazing at his work. Ive got to say all the staff at vetcare are also amazing as they never fail to give a great service.

I cannot believe the trouble I have just had trying to order a bag of dog food from here. The level of suspicion I experienced for simply having the audacity to move house was unbelievable, I actually felt like a criminal. I have no issue with Vetcare in general but I will be using my old Sale branch in future. The staff at Bolton have some serious trust issues and lack interpersonal skills

We have been with Vetcare Bolton for about 10 years and they have helped keep our cats healthy in that time. The staff are all so helpful and we have complete confidence in the pratice. The waiting area is rarely crowded and we are usually seen punctually. The vets are always happy to discuss any care plan with us and we have constantly felt involved in every aspect of our cat's welfare. In January our 13 yr old beloved Katie was put to sleep at Vetcare. She had been ill for 2 weeks and the support we got was marvellous. They have phoned us at home whenever we needed help with Katie and were at the end of the phone if we needed their support (or just to talk and cry with them!). We were able to take her in as soon as we judged the time right to say goodbye to her, and they were sympathetic, caring and proffessional to the end. We have noticed other vets have various money off offers but we are glad that we stayed with Vetcare who know us and our cats and who treat us and our feline friends with care and respect.
We now have a rescue cat called Sanjay. Vetcare have dealt with his injections and spaying and we know he will always be in safe hands with them.

I have all my animals registered with this practice even though I now live an hour away. From the friendly reception team (especially the lovely Roseanne who I'm sure knows my cats better than I do) to the professional and caring veterinary team, I have always received an excellent service. From ticks to eye scratches, cuts to dental work, never once have I felt I that the treatment wasn't appropriate or there was a single item on the bill that wasn't explained to me completely.
The only people I would trust to look after the needs of my cats, and the needs of my sanity when my cats do what cats inevitably do and allow their curiosity to get them in to scrapes.

We've been using Vetcare Bolton now for a number of years and can't recommend then enough. Always very friendly, offering advice and guidance on what's best for our pet. Nothing's too much trouble.
When we had to have our Westie put to sleep last year all the staff were so helpful and understanding.
Even though it isn't the nearest practice to where we live I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Vetcare have looked after Georgie my cat for around 13 years. They have always been very helpful and have the best interest of Georgie in mind.
The vets often phone you a couple of weeks after an appointment to check if everything is OK and sometimes encourage you to phone them of you have any worries.
The prices are very reasonable except for sometimes you can get medications flea treatments etc. cheaper online, but that's to be expected in this day and age.
They do a FREE Senior Pet Club which gives you a free check up, urine test, advice on living with older pets. and a discount on follow up treatment required.
I would not hesitate to recommend this vets and can't praise them hire enough.

We switched to this vet when our beloved dog Mackey was very ill and we wanted a second opinion before we decided if it was time to let him go. We went from phoning to register with them to seeing a vet here in less than an hour! I've taken my pets to Vetcare Bolton for more than 10 years and quite frequently the latter end of 2016 with my staffy Brandy who sadly died before Christmas. I took my ferret Trixie to get spayed and was a little worried about her the vets explained everything before hand and called me to explain what to do before she goes the staff where very polite and friendly and afterwards explained what I needed to do to take care of her until she heals they also booked me in for a check up appointment 2 days after and the cost was very reasonable, in the future I will definitely be coming here again as I'm sure my pets will be cared for in there hands

We recently decided to take our 6 month old puppy on holiday to France. We understood she needed a Rabies Jab and a Pet Passport. We were not registered with Vetcare Bolton at the time. Needless to say we are now registered with them and will use them from now on.

Been going to vet care for about 13 years now, when my dog went blind the owner chad was the only person that found out what it was, archie my blind king charles still sees chad on a regular basis and he is amazing at his work. Ive got to say all the staff at vetcare are also amazing as they never fail to give a great service.

From the friendly reception team (especially the lovely Roseanne who I'm sure knows my cats better than I do) to the professional and caring veterinary team, I have always received an excellent service.
