Marcus was amazing he went through everything very thoroughly and he couldn't have been more sensitive. I would recommend this wonder vet to anyone that loves their pets like I do. Again thank you Marcus you made a very difficult situation more bearable 😘

This practice unnecessarily insisted upon inducing vomiting in our 10 week old puppy, simply because he had consumed a single sultana. We made it clear that we were certain it was only one. Having spoken to many other vets, I have been informed that our puppy should never have been put through this trauma & was a complete overreaction by Pinewood Vets. Our experience is that they are more interested in taking your money, than anything else. We will never use them again, as they recommend wholly unnecessary treatments.

Our regular Vets, never had an issue before, however the particular vet we took our dog to see this time was lacking in "bedside manner" and we felt very rushed, like we were inconveniencing him. Considering that our pet had a worrying problem not to mention that we were paying for his time we were unhappy with the whole performance.
He did his job, fair enough, but his brusque rude manner was not appreciated and has left us considering a change of veterinary care.

Great veterinary practice, they've, looked after all my dogs, cat, rats, hamsters and rabbits... always able to get a good appointment time, opens late and Saturday mornings, everyone is so helpful and lovely. I've been through an awful lot with my furry family members over the last 10 years and the vets and nurses here have been there for us every step of the way, always talking through options, how to approach each health challenge, always the best care and I feel totally confident in their advice. So supportive, no matter what. I cannot fault them.

Really impressed with the speed l was able to get an emergency appt following one of our cats smacking the new puppy in the eye with a claw. Calm staff in a non crowded waiting room. Mr Gilbert the vet was calm and patient with the dog. Took time to explain what was going on and the treatment needed. Been a client here now for some years -service and kindness is superb.

We had the worst experiance at this vets,they diagnosed my dog right that wasnt an issue but their attitude was disgusting the male vet we had dealings with was horrible he had no feelings or compassion what so ever we would never use this vet practice again,we went back to were we know best ,hillcrest and the differance was amazing,we unfortunatley lost our boy a few days later and the experiance at this practice will haunt me forever! We aslo witnessed another older male vet have a very nasty attitude with other people and their pets and we were disgusted,i should of trusted my instincts then!! I would never recommend this practice if you want compassion .

Fab vets. We have been bringing our 'spirited' German Shepherd here for a few years now and the staff do everything they can to help as he is a hand full! He has been in for a few war wounds from his travels and all the regular boosters. The only minor thing I would say they could improve on is appointment times. They are always at least half an hour late sometimes up to an hour late than was booked in for. Other than that - lovely place with fab staff!

A year ago Buster, our cat broke his leg after being hit by a car. The vets at Pinewood mended his leg with a metal rod to hold it together. We had lots of additional problems but thanks to the fantastic care at Pinewood, he recovered completely and is now springing about just like he used to! I can't praise the staff at Pinewood enough, not only did they fix my cat but they were really supportive to me when the situation looked bleak. They also didn't charge the earth. I would recommend Pinewood to anyone, it is quite simply the best vet practice in Chorley. THANK YOU !

My family and me have, let's say, quite a collection of animals between us. Each one is cared for by the team at Pinewood. It would be fair to say that we have had to take our fury and feathered brood for an array of ailments: some routine and some quite serious... There has never been any doubts that the care given is next to none.. The professionalism, compassion and empathetic manor that is displayed makes you feel you are the only one being cared for at any one time, or should I say my pets. I trust Pinewood and would not go anywhere else. I know that people don't think of costs or try not too, but, I have to say as far as veterinary practices go it is very competitive.. Thank you!!

My 18 month old cat got hit by a car. She had a broken leg and it was decided to pin it. She was looked after and I was allowed to visit her. She had her operation and came home later that day. We loaned a cage for free so he has the best chance of her leg healing properly. She had lots of check ups.
The staff have been amazing. Nothing has been too much trouble for them.
I would thoroughly recommend them to anyone.

We had to bring in our 13 year old Jack Russell, who had an accident running on a beach. Turned out his cruciate ligament had torn in two, resulting in knee damage also. The Vet operated and restored the ligament, plus repaired his knee, and now that leg is his strongest. Additionally cancerous growths were discovered elsewhere, and these were operated on at a later date. Result - successful. Now our dog is 14, and he has become diabetic. Treatment has been excellent and we are medicating him via Insulin.
I cannot recommend this Practice highly enough, and with reference to any negative reviews, I can only comment that we have never had any poor service or care for our pet whatsoever..

Our regular Vets, never had an issue before, however the particular vet we took our dog to see this time was lacking in "bedside manner" and we felt very rushed, like we were inconveniencing him. Considering that our pet had a worrying problem not to mention that we were paying for his time we were unhappy with the whole performance.
He did his job, fair enough, but his brusque rude manner was not appreciated and has left us considering a change of veterinary care.

Fab vets. We have been bringing our 'spirited' German Shepherd here for a few years now and the staff do everything they can to help as he is a hand full! A year ago Buster, our cat broke his leg after being hit by a car. The vets at Pinewood mended his leg with a metal rod to hold it together. We had lots of additional problems but thanks to the fantastic care at Pinewood, he recovered completely and is now springing about just like he used to! I can't praise the staff at Pinewood enough, not only did they fix my cat but they were really supportive to me when the situation looked bleak. They also didn't charge the earth. I would recommend Pinewood to anyone, it is quite simply the best vet practice in Chorley. THANK YOU !

My family and me have, let's say, quite a collection of animals between us. Each one is cared for by the team at Pinewood. It would be fair to say that we have had to take our fury and feathered brood for an array of ailments: some routine and some quite serious... There has never been any doubts that the care given is next to none.. The professionalism, compassion and empathetic manor that is displayed makes you feel you are the only one being cared for at any one time, or should I say my pets. I trust Pinewood and would not go anywhere else. I know that people don't think of costs or try not too, but, I have to say as far as veterinary practices go it is very competitive.. Thank you!!

I had to put my two cats to sleep last year..pinewood was amazing with me..treated my two well loved cats with great care...I now have a new cat from CP..and will continue to used this brilliant vets....

My 18 month old cat got hit by a car. She had a broken leg and it was decided to pin it. She was looked after and I was allowed to visit her. She had her operation and came home later that day. We loaned a cage for free so he has the best chance of her leg healing properly. She had lots of check ups.
The staff have been amazing. Nothing has been too much trouble for them.
I would thoroughly recommend them to anyone.

We had to bring in our 13 year old Jack Russell, who had an accident running on a beach. Turned out his cruciate ligament had torn in two, resulting in knee damage also. The Vet operated and restored the ligament, plus repaired his knee, and now that leg is his strongest. Additionally cancerous growths were discovered elsewhere, and these were operated on at a later date. Result - successful. Now our dog is 14, and he has become diabetic. Treatment has been excellent and we are medicating him via Insulin.
I cannot recommend this Practice highly enough, and with reference to any negative reviews, I can only comment that we have never had any poor service or care for our pet whatsoever..
