The vets are great, however the receptionists are very rude. I wouldn't recommend nor return. I've never known a business that alienates its customers like these do.

I have used this vet for some time and usually see Madeleina who is very caring and was very supportive of our 15 year old Yorkshire terrier and the battles he faced in his final years. We now have a 5 month old Cavapoochon and we took him as he was in discomfort around his rear end and yelped if you went near the base of his tail. We saw a young yet called Laura, she felt his tummy and took his temperature and said she couldn't find anything wrong with him and if it continues to bring a urine sample in. I asked if it could be his anal glands and she replied she didn't think that was the problem even though she didn't check. I was only in there a few minutes.
A few days later he went to doggy daycare and the lady who owns it is a veterinary nurse, on picking him up she informed me that he had been having problems with his rear end and upon checking his anal glands they were very full and she expressed them for him. I couldn't believe the vet had missed this and I paid £50 for nothing.
I spoke to the practice manager who has no customer service skills whatsoever, I asked him for my £50 back as the vet hadn't done her job properly and he just started to make excuses for her stating as far as he was concerned she had done a thorough examination. I've spent a few thousand pounds at this vets in the past and I felt as a valued customer he should have returned the money and accepted that the young vet in question had not been thorough enough. I said I would be looking to change vets and he said that was up to me. I have never complained before even though in the past I have felt their out of practice hours surgery made the price up as to what it should have been.
I won't be going back, I'm quite appalled about the lack of attention to detail by the vet and the practice managers attitude.

OUT OF HOURS EMERGENCY SERVICE: CHECK BEFORE YOU COMMIT.
In the light of recent events when I chose to remove my dog from this Surgery because of concerns regarding
her treatment I feel it incumbent to advise owners of pets seeking to use this service to check exactly what they
are getting for an serious amount of money.
In the first instance be aware that if your pet is registered with another practice and you access this facility out
of hours they will not have the access to the medical records of the patient. Even if your usual practice claims
24 hour Emergency Cover this is not strictly correct. There does not seem to be any special relationship with
Greenways and in fact any Emergency Provider could offer the same service. The 'chain of care is broken' when
you use this service. It beggars belief that any such facility can offer robust critical care to an animal with a
history of complex medical needs without access to its clinical records.!!! Further this can trigger the need
repeat expensive procedures such as X Rays and Blood Tests which would have shown on the MRs.!!!
I would also suggest that you request a Definitive Invoice and check that if your pet needs to stay in the Hospital
facility overnight then confirmation that a qualified member of staff will be on duty in the Ward throughout the
night checking regularly on the patients and giving care where needed much as in an NHS Hospital. You will be
paying a serious amount of money for this service apart from ensuring that your pet receives the best care. Do
not be afraid to challenge senior management about any concerns.
I am aware that the practice has achieved a four star rating however from my own experience I am reluctant to
give it even one star.

Extremely disappointed with lack of administrative and customer care support. Wrote with full details Dec 2019 and received acknowledgement saying they would look into matter fully and reply within two weeks. That was over 7 weeks again and still no reply! - administration, ie animal medical history extremely poor. Also their receptionist was extremely unhelpful. I've never left a negative review before but unfortunately I have to in this instance. Have moved to another local Vets (Rowans) who are extremely good.

Amazing vets!! Took my Chihuahua as an emergency, she stayed over a week and received excellent care from start to finish. Sam went over and above, was extremely knowledgeable and professional throughout. He kept me informed daily, and guided me through a very upsetting time. From the Vets and Nursing Team, to the Receptionists and Practice Manager, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience!! Highly recommended. 5 star!!!

Whilst visiting family our Lilly, King Charles Spaniel needed urgent care, got recommended to use this practice, it was emergency out of hours appointment. We were seen by Adelina who acted very professionally and referred us immediately to go to The optical specialist in Penrith who done a operation in both eyes to remove ulcers. We can’t thank Adelina enough for her expertise and quick response, without this happening it could of been disastrous. Many thanks again to you and all your team.

Paid £456 for my cat to be no better, I had to take her elsewhere after they refused to see her even though I had picked her up from an overnight emergency case 3 hours before.Falied to give me vital information regarding further care and treatmentI did not consent to most of the treatment and it was unnecessary at that timeThey claim she was monitored through the night yet that does not match her care recordsRefused to see her so she was in pain and discomfort for hours until the next day when I could get her in with another vet, which, cost me more money but thankfully within half an hour after receiving the correct treatment and pain relief she was fine The practice manager was rude and had no interest in my cats welfare!!!!!!!!They neglected my cat and charged me for the privalage.

Poor care and extortionate prices.... My little Dachshund was misdiagnosed when she was taken in on an emergency appointment and 2 days later she was totally paralysed in her back legs. What I didn't know at the time , but a vet should have, is that she was displaying all the signs and symptoms of a text book case of IVDD which is as common as 1 in 4 in this breed . If she had been diagnosed in time there would have been a chance that with total crate rest she would have made a full recovery. If you love your pets and want the best for them AVOID AT ALL COSTS. To top it all I paid double what I am paying now for her medication and pain relief!!

When my rabbit kurt took ill, I had no idea why this suddenly happened i didnt seem to be getting anywhere with my previous vets. After a hell of a week worrying and not really having diagnosed the problem i brought him here and immediately felt he was in safer hands. They made kurt stronger keeping him in for obs and having his own nurse 😂 sorting his teeth and kidney problem out which i believe was brought on through stress and trauma of previous encounters. kurt is now grazing on fresh grass and happily back with Cobain binkying about like rabbits should be. If you have rabbits this is the place to be and lovely staff 😀🐇

Cannot praise these guys enough. The past 24 hours have been exceptionally difficult with my son's much loved bunny becoming extremely poorly, and unfortunately today needing to be put to sleep. From start to finish the vetinary nurse and reception staff were amongst the most compassionate and kind people I have ever met. Everything from the care of my pet to the care of me, especially when dealing with delicate issues such as money. When it came to the heartbreaking moment of letting my bunny go, we were not rushed and were able to say goodbye in our own time. It's been a deeply heartbreaking time but made significantly easier by a group of exceptional people. Thank you and I will never forget your kindness x

Excellent, caring vets. After trying other veterinary practices in the area we had Greenways recommended to us by a friend who had had really good experiences there. We have never looked back and cannot recommend them highly enough. Pets are treated as members of the family and all staff seem genuinely motivated and caring, everything you could possibly hope for when choosing a vet.

Had to use this vet for emergency. Had to drive from Bispham to st Anne's. obviously not there fault. But when we got there, the vet examined our dog, asked a series of questions but didn't seem to be listening completely to what we had to say. He quickly did diaognose that our dog had suffered a stroke which we thought the same. But he didn't really offer any sympathy to us or our dog when we knew this would be the end. He wasn't very clear explaining the situation or quick to give our dog any reassurance. Our dog unfortunately had to be put to sleep, without a nurse present he solely counted on us to assist holding him even considering how upset we were. I can't fault that the care wasn't efficient or that the outcome would of been different with a different vet, but we felt the whole situation was very robotic like. It lacked empathy for both our dog and us as owners.

Excellent, knowledgeable, caring vets and excellent service. Prescription charges are high though compared to other vets. Especially when both a dispensing fee is charged or a charge made for a prescription. When you have a number of pets on medication this can be expensive. I've insured mine to be on the safe side. That said they run a LOCAL emergency service and when I've had an issue my pet has been seen same day often within hours of calling.

We had to use this practice as an emergency 24 hour service, at first we weren't happy at having to drive from Fleetwood to st-Anne's ( not their fault but that of our local vets), when we got there within 30 seconds we knew we had arrived at a place that truly cared for animals and their owners, and would do everything they could for our truly, the equipment they have available is amazing and you really get the feeling that everyone working there loves and cares for animals. The diagnostic skills of the vet was so impressive within 5 minutes of arriving she had discovered the true problem which had been previously misdiagnosed. I just wish they were closer to us as this would become our vets from now on. We lost our beautiful truly but it has been so comforting to know everything possible was done for her, she was being treated for the correct illness and she passed away in the presence of people who cared for her.

I couldn't believe the vet had missed this and I paid £50 for nothing.
I spoke to the practice manager who has no customer service skills whatsoever, I asked him for my £50 back as the vet hadn't done her job properly and he just started to make excuses for her stating as far as he was concerned she had done a thorough examination. I've spent a few thousand pounds at this vets in the past and I felt as a valued customer he should have returned the money and accepted that the young vet in question had not been thorough enough. I said I would be looking to change vets and he said that was up to me. I have never complained before even though in the past I have felt their out of practice hours surgery made the price up as to what it should have been.
I won't be going back, I'm quite appalled about the lack of attention to detail by the vet and the practice managers attitude.

OUT OF HOURS EMERGENCY SERVICE: CHECK BEFORE YOU COMMIT.
In the light of recent events when I chose to remove my dog from this Surgery because of concerns regarding
her treatment I feel it incumbent to advise owners of pets seeking to use this service to check exactly what they
are getting for an serious amount of money.
In the first instance be aware that if your pet is registered with another practice and you access this facility out
of hours they will not have the access to the medical records of the patient. Even if your usual practice claims
24 hour Emergency Cover this is not strictly correct. There does not seem to be any special relationship with
Greenways and in fact any Emergency Provider could offer the same service. The 'chain of care is broken' when
you use this service. It beggars belief that any such facility can offer robust critical care to an animal with a
history of complex medical needs without access to its clinical records.!!! Further this can trigger the need
repeat expensive procedures such as X Rays and Blood Tests which would have shown on the MRs.!!!
I would also suggest that you request a Definitive Invoice and check that if your pet needs to stay in the Hospital
facility overnight then confirmation that a qualified member of staff will be on duty in the Ward throughout the
night checking regularly on the patients and giving care where needed much as in an NHS Hospital. You will be
paying a serious amount of money for this service apart from ensuring that your pet receives the best care. Do
not be afraid to challenge senior management about any concerns.
I am aware that the practice has achieved a four star rating however from my own experience I am reluctant to
give it even one star.

Extremely disappointed with lack of administrative and customer care support. Wrote with full details Dec 2019 and received acknowledgement saying they would look into matter fully and reply within two weeks. That was over 7 weeks again and still no reply! - administration, ie animal medical history extremely poor. Also their receptionist was extremely unhelpful. I've never left a negative review before but unfortunately I have to in this instance. Have moved to another local Vets (Rowans) who are extremely good.

Amazing vets!! Took my Chihuahua as an emergency, she stayed over a week and received excellent care from start to finish. Sam went over and above, was extremely knowledgeable and professional throughout. He kept me informed daily, and guided me through a very upsetting time. From the Vets and Nursing Team, to the Receptionists and Practice Manager, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience!! Highly recommended. 5 star!!!

Whilst visiting family our Lilly, King Charles Spaniel needed urgent care, got recommended to use this practice, it was emergency out of hours appointment. We were seen by Adelina who acted very professionally and referred us immediately to go to The optical specialist in Penrith who done a operation in both eyes to remove ulcers. Paid £456 for my cat to be no better, I had to take her elsewhere after they refused to see her even though I had picked her up from an overnight emergency case 3 hours before.Falied to give me vital information regarding further care and treatmentI did not consent to most of the treatment and it was unnecessary at that timeThey claim she was monitored through the night yet that does not match her care recordsRefused to see her so she was in pain and discomfort for hours until the next day when I could get her in with another vet, which, cost me more money but thankfully within half an hour after receiving the correct treatment and pain relief she was fine The practice manager was rude and had no interest in my cats welfare!!!!!!!!They neglected my cat and charged me for the privalage.

Poor care and extortionate prices.... My little Dachshund was misdiagnosed when she was taken in on an emergency appointment and 2 days later she was totally paralysed in her back legs. What I didn't know at the time , but a vet should have, is that she was displaying all the signs and symptoms of a text book case of IVDD which is as common as 1 in 4 in this breed . If she had been diagnosed in time there would have been a chance that with total crate rest she would have made a full recovery. If you love your pets and want the best for them AVOID AT ALL COSTS. To top it all I paid double what I am paying now for her medication and pain relief!!

When my rabbit kurt took ill, I had no idea why this suddenly happened i didnt seem to be getting anywhere with my previous vets. After a hell of a week worrying and not really having diagnosed the problem i brought him here and immediately felt he was in safer hands. They made kurt stronger keeping him in for obs and having his own nurse 😂 sorting his teeth and kidney problem out which i believe was brought on through stress and trauma of previous encounters. kurt is now grazing on fresh grass and happily back with Cobain binkying about like rabbits should be. If you have rabbits this is the place to be and lovely staff 😀🐇

Cannot praise these guys enough. The past 24 hours have been exceptionally difficult with my son's much loved bunny becoming extremely poorly, and unfortunately today needing to be put to sleep. From start to finish the vetinary nurse and reception staff were amongst the most compassionate and kind people I have ever met. Everything from the care of my pet to the care of me, especially when dealing with delicate issues such as money. When it came to the heartbreaking moment of letting my bunny go, we were not rushed and were able to say goodbye in our own time. It's been a deeply heartbreaking time but made significantly easier by a group of exceptional people. Thank you and I will never forget your kindness x

Excellent, caring vets. After trying other veterinary practices in the area we had Greenways recommended to us by a friend who had had really good experiences there. We have never looked back and cannot recommend them highly enough. Pets are treated as members of the family and all staff seem genuinely motivated and caring, everything you could possibly hope for when choosing a vet.

Had to use this vet for emergency. Had to drive from Bispham to st Anne's. obviously not there fault. But when we got there, the vet examined our dog, asked a series of questions but didn't seem to be listening completely to what we had to say. He quickly did diaognose that our dog had suffered a stroke which we thought the same. But he didn't really offer any sympathy to us or our dog when we knew this would be the end. He wasn't very clear explaining the situation or quick to give our dog any reassurance. Our dog unfortunately had to be put to sleep, without a nurse present he solely counted on us to assist holding him even considering how upset we were. I can't fault that the care wasn't efficient or that the outcome would of been different with a different vet, but we felt the whole situation was very robotic like. It lacked empathy for both our dog and us as owners.

Excellent, knowledgeable, caring vets and excellent service. Prescription charges are high though compared to other vets. Especially when both a dispensing fee is charged or a charge made for a prescription. When you have a number of pets on medication this can be expensive. I've insured mine to be on the safe side. That said they run a LOCAL emergency service and when I've had an issue my pet has been seen same day often within hours of calling.

We had to use this practice as an emergency 24 hour service, at first we weren't happy at having to drive from Fleetwood to st-Anne's ( not their fault but that of our local vets), when we got there within 30 seconds we knew we had arrived at a place that truly cared for animals and their owners, and would do everything they could for our truly, the equipment they have available is amazing and you really get the feeling that everyone working there loves and cares for animals. The diagnostic skills of the vet was so impressive within 5 minutes of arriving she had discovered the true problem which had been previously misdiagnosed. I just wish they were closer to us as this would become our vets from now on. We lost our beautiful truly but it has been so comforting to know everything possible was done for her, she was being treated for the correct illness and she passed away in the presence of people who cared for her.
