Our staff members endeavour to provide good quality veterinary care, whilst always taking into consideration our clients and patients’ best interests. We treat your pets as if they were our own, a passion for pets and their well-being characterises our veterinary health care team.
Based in Lees, Oldham, we are proud to be a Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS) accredited Small Animal Practice; this means that we have met the standards set out by the RCVS to ensure that your pet receives a high quality of care.
We strive to provide a high quality of service for both you and your pet. To do this, we ensure we have up to date technology, including in-house blood analysers, digital x-ray and full anaesthetic monitoring equipment; alongside this our vets are continually increasing their knowledge by attending courses and training for the RCVS Certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice. We also enlist the help of European and RCVS Diploma holders for more specialist treatment in-house; in many cases this means pets can receive specialist cardiology, soft tissue surgery and ultrasonography at County’s End, which would usually require travel to a referral facility.
We are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to treat your furry friend. After regular office hours we will have the necessary staff on-call to treat your pet and for advice on sick animals overnight.
All out of hours emergencies are seen by our own staff.

Love this place, Rob has been amazing with me being so panicky about lunar and he's so lovely with her too, I had my older dog with them from pup to the ends and the practice has always been caring and lovely, I can't believe I've ever been anywhere else. I've just moved my own dog here after a bad experience (at a different vets) and I'm so much happier and county's end are so much more professional and a higher quality and standard, I feel confident with my lunar being here under Rob and the teams care

Excellent service. Have to be honest, was not impressed after initial treatment. But, after complaining, the owner spoke to me & everything was sorted out.
Extremely clean = does not smell clinical. Very homely feel & the set out in waiting area is brilliant, there are separated seating areas with glass partitions, so your pets aren't going crazy whilst waiting to be seen.
Really nicely decorated.
I think we definitely made the best decision choosing this surgery.

I popped in last night with Jasper to have his blood pressure and urine checked. Just wanted to leave a note as I was so impressed (not for the first time) with his care - all his checks done and got his results "while we waited" with really good advice and some food samples for him to try plus his medicine. Having just read the negative review from ONE visit?? I am speechless. We take our two Irish Red and White setters to this vets regularly and have had nothing but EXCELLENT care and communication. They offer a 24 hour service one mile from home which is why we moved from our previous vet as previously was directed to Heaton Chapel. Our dogs have been stress free and well cared for. One suffers from an allergy and the practice deals with the insurance professionaly and minimum of fuss. I have also noticed the owner has invested in the practice quite considerably and unlike some shows her caring by taking in various sad cases. Highly recommended. Cost is all relative and the welfare of our dogs the key factor.

Everyone needs a vet and this is a large Vetinary practice and covers a lot of treatments. If your pet is sick or unwell or you just need basic jabs or a checkup, then this is the place to go. I think this vets is great and they are more than helpful in getting your pet the right treatment. Obviously vets can be expensive and you have to be aware of this but you have to look after your love ones. I think that this place is friendly and their vet surgeons are great and also explain what they are doing. Also this is a great practice to have as it is large and people with horses and farms etc can rely on this place as there are plenty of staff.

Love this place, Rob has been amazing with me being so panicky about lunar and he's so lovely with her too, I had my older dog with them from pup to the ends and the practice has always been caring and lovely, I can't believe I've ever been anywhere else. I think this vets is great and they are more than helpful in getting your pet the right treatment.
