A very good vet who was thorough and caring with my two cats. Some medication which was prescribed was not in stock however they delivered it to my home the very next morning, this was extremely kind of them to go out of their way for me and much appreciated. Fantastic practise. I took my African Pygmy Hedgehog here when she was very poorly, did not struggle to get an appointment. The medication helped her for a short time but sadly one morning i feared the worse. Phoned the practise up straight away and i got told i could bring her in ASAP. Sadly She had to be put to sleep but the staff were really supportive, even when i returned to collect her ashes they asked how i had been. I have used Manchester St Vets for over 50 years and they have looked after all my dogs with great care and affection. When I moved out of the area I had to change vets and found the new vets not as approachable as Manchester Street. We never saw the same vet when attending the surgery and I felt that the vets didn't know my dogs. I have therefore decide to return to Manchester St as I am willing to travel the distance knowing my dogs are well looked, after it is certainly worth it. Read Less

Such a welcoming place with amazing staff!! Two of my pets have been there and they were always brilliant with them. We recently lost a beloved pet and they were so understanding and comforting in her final moments, Angel couldn't get enough of the staff. :') I can't fault a thing about this place, the lady helped us through it all, giving us all the time we wanted with angel and she was very supportive in such a hard time. Highly recommend, Asela and the team did everything to help us move our dogs to New Zealand, who have just arrived , ten more days of quarantine and they will be back with us. Couldn't praise this surgery enough. I was always ringing during the day with emergencies and they always accommodated me. Staff are very friendly and understanding. Vets are very kind and considerate. They always ensure they do their best for you. Unfortunately had to let my bearded dragon go, but was always given options, the vets are very willing and never give up. This surgery is fantastic and would recommend to anybody. Took my dog here today for the first time and it was great. The staff were lovely from the minute we walked in the door and made us feel right at home. 12 years living out of the area and I still bring my dogs 'home' for the Vets! This is because you simple don't get the level of care anywhere else. They are and always have been fantastic with all our dogs. Absolutely fantastic vets! I have been coming to the surgery for many years and never had a problem. Yesterday you guys were so helpful and understanding of Penny my cat! You have been a huge help. She is doing a lot better with the collar on to stop her from biting her stitches. Thank you for letting us come and get one as soon as possible yesterday. Growing up we have always had a cat. And when one of our cats didn't seem well Mr Jennings was the only vet who managed to get it right with what was wrong with our beautiful cat Betty. She had cancer in her ears and her nose :( Yes it was sad and she needed her ears taking off, but the help Mr Jennings gave was brill.So when I moved out, even before I had a kettle, I went down to the cats home and rescued my new best friend Phoebe and registered her at Manchester Street Vets.Every year she has her booster and wormer and I buy the anti- flea treatment from here too. Luckily we have never had any problems with Phoebe, other than a slight weight problem. So since Christmas we visited once every two weeks, now once a month, for Fat Club as I like to call it. It's really called Weight Clinic but since I do Weight Watchers, our Mondays are now Fat Club Day! Fat Club is a free service to all pet owners, where the vet nurse offers advice and help on overweight/ underweight animals and so far it is working. Debbie is our personal vet nurse and she is lovely. At first Phoebe hated getting in her carry case even though its a luxurious leather one with a luxuriously soft blanket inside, but now we don;t have a problem and when we arrive she strolls out and gets herself comfy on the scales! Debbie's help has helped me help Phoebe loose approx 500g - doesn't sound much but it's 10% off her total weight. The only downside to the surgery that I have found is the lady on the reception desk, she seems quite tactless. Whilst waiting to book another appointment, there was an elderly couple who had obviously just been told their precious dog was going to be put to sleep. They wanted to know how much it cost but couldn't say the words out of fear of crying, and the lady behind the desk was just being a bit insensitive. However, this doesn't bring down the services which the trained vets and vet nurses provide here. Read Less
