At Vets4Pets we know your pet is a much loved part of the family and you want them to enjoy a long, healthy life. This is why our veterinary teams, made up of animal loving experts, firmly believe in providing the highest level of care and treating every pet they see like they would their own. Every Vets4Pets practice is equipped with the latest in technology, which means we can offer your pets the personalised care they need. Our practices are also designed to make your pet’s time with us as comfortable as possible; just like kids don’t always like going to the dentist, we know pets don’t always like going to the vets! Our waiting areas are light and spacious (and with floors that can cope with little accidents) and we also have separate dog and cat wards so your pet can recuperate more comfortably after any treatment. Our vets will explain all clinical terms so you fully understand what is happening to your pet and you are fully involved in their treatment plan. This also includes being completely transparent in our pricing, so you can make an informed choice on the treatment that you want your pet to receive. Come and see for yourself at your local Vets4Pets, why not take a practice tour?

I cannot praise the Senior Vet Thomas Hindley enough, he was so compassionate and remarkably kind towards my 18 year old cat over a number of years. He gave him two years of support through his extensive research and treatment, I believe our cat Vico, benefited from a further two years of life due to Thomas's fundamental extensive knowledge of senior cats and how to treat them.
Thank you to you Thomas and to all the team at Vets for Pets at the Capitol Centre in Preston.
Our cat Vico has now passed away and my family all really miss such a remarkable team of people. I have total trust in them and would highly recommend them to care for your pet. Read Less

A cat was knocked over near my work and I had the following experience at New Hall Vets:
A couple saw a cat knocked over near my office, put it in a box and brought it in to use the phone. They called the RSPCA and got an incident log number and were advised someone would collect to take it to the nearest vet. I agreed to take the cat to prevent delay and a colleague and I drove 5 minutes down the road to this vet.
Despite having an RSPCA log number, we were immediately told to leave and call the RSPCA. I explained that this had already been done and they told us to bring the cat to him but the vet said it wasn't his responsibility and we should call the RSPCA again. He didn't even look at the cat.
The cat was still moving in the box and, although injured, was fully conscious and responsive. The vet watched us stood outside his store with an injured animal whilst we tried several numbers to try and gain further advice.
Upon speaking to the RSPCA again, they advised that the vet had a duty of care towards the animal and were as shocked as we were at his response. They gave us the address of another vet 10 minutes away and we drove there instead.
The cat had to be put to sleep due to the complex fractures in both front legs, however it was probably in pain for a great deal longer than it had to be because of this man.
The 2nd vets was Vets 4 Pets. They showed concern and compassion and saw the cat immediately. They even took my phone number and updated me with respect to its progress. The employees genuinely cared about the welfare of the animal. I couldn't praise them enough.Read Less
