I have used this practice for many years for all my animals. They've treated all my animals like family, with kindness and respect. The nurses are the making of this practice and always welcoming and helpful. The vets are good too. I've recently been in for neutering of my cats and vaccinations for them. I never feel rushed and the vets are very thoughtful and thorough. It's so nice to still be able to use a small private practice where you can get to know the wonderful staff, rather than a corporate practice which lacks personal service. Looking forward to using them for years to come and couldn't recommend highly enough Read Less

I have taken my two dogs to this practice for nearly 10 years because the vets there are highly skilled and it is within walking distance of my home. It has always been expensive compared with other local vets, but has become increasingly expensive over the years. They are very focused on money and frequently try to persuade you to agree to tests which are of questionable or no value. On two recent visits I declined tests which I (working in the medical profession) knew were pointless and they continued at some length to try high-pressure sales techniques (which I recognise as I also used to be a salesman!) to talk me into agreeing to them. They also proceeded with one that I had declined and then charged me for it. This was the last straw and I have eventually abandoned them for a practice with more reasonable costs and which focuses more on the pet than the money. If you have a full-cover insurance policy such as PetPlan, I would recommend this practice as I have always been impressed by their skill and knowledge and it will be your insurance company who has to pay for all the the tests and treatment!
