Avoid Avoid Avoid. I have just had my worse experience with a vets ever but it will also be my last. On my or our first visit ever which ever way you want to look at it, i took my boy chief for an eye test not to hard you would think has thats what I asked for but did they do one🙄 no they actually did a dna test instead which involved shaving him and taking his blood both unnecessary has thats not what he went in for and has its lock down you can't go in with your dog they take them in for you. I don't mind that with the covid situation but I do expect them to do what they are asked to do surely not to much to ask. Then bring him out and charge me £191 for the privilege. I only found out that what I asked for an eye test had not actually been done at all and the DNA test instead when I got home and read the receipt. Went back next day to see what the hell they are playing at to be told I could have a full refund has it was their mistake and they would throw the samples away. But I didn't want my boy getting shaving and having bloods taken and going through pain for nothing so I had to pay the £191 because i didn't want his bloods binning and I would of had to get my boy done anyway in a couple of years anyway but not now and most definitely not when I never asked them to. And what's really shocking is they don't even do eye tests even but still took my booking🙄. Communication is obviously a problem at this vets and if they can do work without your knowledge who knows what damage they might do to your loved pets. I cannot praise enough the kindness and commitment the whole team show towards not only the animals in their care , but the families around the pets. We have seen at first hand the lengths the staff are prepared to reach in order to ensure all avenues are explored and eventualities covered , even when our beloved pets reach the end of their lives the same kindness is extended to animals and their humans. The ‘aftercare’ is above and beyond and full of compassion . I cannot recommend Valley Vet Care strongly enough, fantastic people doing a hard job to the very best of their ability. Read Less
