I have been using Hilary as a Hydro therapist for my dog for the last two years. Her service along with the rest of the team has been excellent and they have supported both me and my dog along the way...
I have been using Hilary as a Hydro therapist for my dog for the last two years. Her service along with the rest of the team has been excellent and they have supported both me and my dog along the way. Cannot fault them at all.

Absolutely awful treatment they do not care when you lose a pet and are grieving as they made so many mistakes. we were told after paying for deluxe cremation that they wanted money for unpaid bills which were not ours but had been linked to our name. This happened after paying in full nearly five hundred pounds for cancer treatment but cat passed away few months later. after correcting them they said it was sorted but then six months later our old cat passed away. So my son paid for deluxe cremation again only to have a phone call week later from the vet practice to say they were withholding the cats body until this bill which was not our would be paid, so yet again we had to explain this wasn't right and they should not have held our cats body for someone elses bill as its blackmail. Then to make things worse they ordered scatter box instead of what we had paid for deluxe casket and thought we wouldn't notice. but now we find when phoning to complain a member of staff is now not being truthful trying to make out that we making trouble. but as we had a friend listening to conversation they have made slanderous remarks about us so whatever you do you not allowed to complain about any treatment they get wrong at this practice.

Worst hummain vets ever not evan worthy of a a one star review. This vets has no compassion what so ever about the animals, all about the money! I saw a post though social media about a deceased cat what had been found which had been run over and the discription sounded a lot like my cat but he was not chipped so the woman had said she had taken him to barn lodge skemlmersdale. I only saw the post That night which had been posted a few hours previous. So it was to late to ring. I rang them 9 o clock sharp the very next morning like it stated they only opened at that time on their website, to be told in their words” they had already took the cat for disposal” Not Evan left it 24 hours or not evan 12 in my case! for the owner to come forward like I did and I quote because the “cat wasn’t chipped he has no legal owner” and “there was no possible way now” I could find out if it was my Timmy or not!! I’m sure they are meant to wait 7 days to see if the owner comes forward but no not Barn Lodge! No compassion what so ever!! Think about the owners for once instead of the” inconvenience”humans would call part of the family.

My little dog has attended this excellent vets for a number of years , Lou was 17 years and 3 months old and both Austin and his team did everything they could so I could keep Lou Lou with me for as long as I could , Sadly the dreaded day came when I knew my little dog had lost her fight to live , on January 15th I made the call to the vets to come to my house to put little Lou Lou to sleep. Adam arrived and from the minute he came into my home he showed nothing but the utmost respect for Lou Lou and also compassion for myself and my family ,he treated Lou Lou with the dignity she deserved, both Adam and the nurse that attended with him could not have been more feeling and caring , Thankyou All for giving me those extra months with Lou Loux

The front desk staff where extremely helpful, kind and courtesy. But the vet was very rude, he was 'in and out' i wanted to ask about the pups well being but struggled to get a word in. He was very rude, however i did go on a day after 2 days of closing (bank holiday) and so it was very rushed. I have been before with my nans dog and the other vet was loverly very kind and understanding, extremly hwlpful, i dont know if he still works there, i am going back to get the pups 2 vacanitations and then shall see. Ok so i went back and had a different vet he was russian i think and he cojldnt of been better he cuddeled and comforted my puppies and was so helpful he asked if i had any concerns, can not complain i think im just going to make sure i have him from now in. As usual desk staff were amazing, :).

The attitude from this vet is appalling! He showed no interest in the dog whatsoever and didn't even bother to give her a little fuss to make her feel at ease. He spoke rather abruptly to me, was not interested in my questions and stated I should just return to them if it happened again instead of offering useful advice about prevention. Clearly was only interested in a quick 50 in and out job because twice we've been for the same problem and twice he didn't even bother to clean the dog's ear out for us either time, just sent us on our way with some drops. Will definitely be using a new vet from now on.

The attitude from this vet is appalling! He showed no interest in the dog whatsoever and didn't even bother to give her a little fuss to make her feel at ease. He spoke rather abruptly to me, was not interested in my questions and stated I should just return to them if it happened again instead of offering useful advice about prevention. I am disgusted and and utterly appalled at the shocking behaviour and service that I have received from this so called vets. I have just been called by the owner of this practice to say that my business is no longer welcome due to giving constructive feebaback to one of his employees. This employee is rude abrupt and utterly lacking in all skills related to customer services and representing a quality brand. The incompetence of this surgery is shocking and the mere fact that I have been asked to stop attending this vets mid treatment because I was told it's up to me to re-order chemo drugs to treat my sick animal. When I brought this to the attention of the vets to state that it's not up to me to re-order the medication I was accused of being rude and abrupt. What I can't stand for is poor customer service when we are paying hundreds of pounds for the continued so called care of my animal and incompetence in the extreme. This vets is ran by and headed by an equally incompetent fool who blindly believes his staff who represent his 'business' and are the face of his brand are offering a service that befits this establishment. I can only laugh at the fact he has delusions of what a quality customer service experience is. My advice to anyone that wishes to take your sick animal here please DO NOT as they are as far way from quality animal welfare and service that you could imagine. My other words of advice are if you have a complaint please do not go in as a male, please send in your wife or female relative then you cannot be accused of being aggressive and argumentative to the female member of staff who feels it pertinent to tell me in a rude and aggressive manner that I am in the wrong. Basically if you care for your sick or injured animal take them anywhere other than here, because you will regret it due to the incompetence of the staff which unfortunately starts at the top who is the owner.

Absolutely awful treatment they do not care when you lose a pet and are grieving as they made so many mistakes. we were told after paying for deluxe cremation that they wanted money for unpaid bills which were not ours but had been linked to our name. This happened after paying in full nearly five hundred pounds for cancer treatment but cat passed away few months later. after correcting them they said it was sorted but then six months later our old cat passed away. Worst hummain vets ever not evan worthy of a a one star review. This vets has no compassion what so ever about the animals, all about the money! I saw a post though social media about a deceased cat what had been found which had been run over and the discription sounded a lot like my cat but he was not chipped so the woman had said she had taken him to barn lodge skemlmersdale. I only saw the post That night which had been posted a few hours previous. So it was to late to ring. The front desk staff where extremely helpful, kind and courtesy. But the vet was very rude, he was 'in and out' i wanted to ask about the pups well being but struggled to get a word in. He was very rude, however i did go on a day after 2 days of closing (bank holiday) and so it was very rushed. I am disgusted and and utterly appalled at the shocking behaviour and service that I have received from this so called vets. I have just been called by the owner of this practice to say that my business is no longer welcome due to giving constructive feebaback to one of his employees.
