Buddy has had TPLO on both hind legs due to his cruciate ligaments snapping. He is approaching 10 years old and is a Daniff ( Dane/Mastiff cross). He recently had life saving surgery at Oakhill as he suffered bloat and twisted gut. They were remarkable and performed surgery in the "small hours". His scars were evident and it was recommended that once he had recovered from his recent surgery, Hydrotherapy should be considered to help maintain and increase the strength in his hind legs and help fight arthritis.
Buddy has had several sessions at The Arc Rehab centre with Emma. He has had infrared treatment, massage and the main event being the Hydrotherapy. What a great set up and what a great team of people. Buddy can be a little wary of new people in his life but he marches in there confidently and is always pleased to see Emma.
I can't praise them enough and more importantly the positive effect on Buddy. If your Pet is suffering and not moving 'freely' I would not hesitate to contact the team at "The Arc". It is also fun.

Amazing care, we were on holiday our eldest dog was taken sick nearly lost him, but for the care from this vet centre the vet even came to see my dog when he was off. At deaths door the vet practice helped me to get him back, my dog is still with us and our vet diagnosed him with saggy asophogus complete life style change but we can live with that. Thank Oakhill..

Such a lovely vets. Our pug got ill on our way to our holiday in windermere and worried we turned up at the vets hoping to see someone only an hour before they closed. They were brilliant. The vet Matthew was great with her. She improved over night and they booked her in to see her again in the morning. Very caring and the cost was half what I pay back at home. Wish I lived here just to use these vets. Really can't thank you enough. Chez, Pete and a now healthy Poppy x

They were so professional and sensitive to any requests or questions I had. She came in a lovely box with a quote and a lovely note inside. Oakhill Vets are one of the finest vets I have come across. A very friendly, professional practise that we, sadly, had to use this weekend for our dog that had a stone in her abdomen. From the initial consultation to the immediate surgery and then the aftercare I could not criticise whatsoever their attention, care and afterthoughts. Happily our dog is not on the mend and it is because Steve, Helen and the team identified and cured the issue without a fuss and without any doubts. Well done team and thank you for all your help.

Amazing team at Oakhill do it again. I have got to say a massive thank you to Alex, Charlie's supervet and Julie who keeps me strong throughout. Charlie our gorgeous cat is 20 yrs old and doing really well. We thought we were going to lose him last May and Alex brought him back to fitness hoping we would get a few more weeks with him but we are now nearly 9 months on and Charlie is as cheeky as ever. I've had all my dogs registered here for years, wouldn't go anywhere else. Incredibly talented vets, after care and staff are amazing. We're so lucky to have this available locally. Don't think about registering - just do it, can't recommend them high enough. Thank you for all that you do xx

Amazing team at Oakhill do it again. I have got to say a massive thank you to Alex, Charlie's supervet and Julie who keeps me strong throughout. Charlie our gorgeous cat is 20 yrs old and doing really well. We thought we were going to lose him last May and Alex brought him back to fitness hoping we would get a few more weeks with him but we are now nearly 9 months on and Charlie is as cheeky as ever.
