I decided to take my dog here as I thought that being an independent practice, we'd get better service. My dog had a lump on her belly. I rang them and got an appointment for the same day which I was pleased about. The vet we saw suggested surgery and cancer and ruled out that the redness on my dogs belly or the lesions had anything to do with the lump. So, I booked my dog in for surgery the next day. I went home, crying. When I got home and spoke to a few people, I realised it seemed like a hasty decision by the vet who did not do a biopsy or an x-ray to check for other lumps. We went for a second opinion and were given antibiotics. One week later, my dogs lump has almost completely disappeared. I guess the only positive I can take away from this was finding a proper vet in Hinckley. Read Less

I have been going to Bell Brown and Bentley (Wigston) for many years now and have found them to be professional and kind in the good times and the not so good times. With the Four dogs I have had treated over the years (they have ranged from laid back, to hyper to aggressive) each one has been treated with care. I cannot recommend this vets practice enough for their dedication and commitment to finding a solution for your pet's condition. Prices are reasonable compared to my local vet where the service doesn't even come close. I visited the team on Hinckley road and highly recommend them. There is no night service for emergencies and you are sent to emergency vets working at the PDSA nearby who do not know your pet and have no records. Also if you need an insurance form filling out for the emergency visit this is extra money and your vets will have nothing to do with it. This is at a time when you most need help. Such a fantastic place. My dog, Titan absolutely loves it there because of all of the care, fuss and attention he is given. He is always so excited to go which is really nice to see. Very friendly, professional, caring and kind staff both on the telephone and face to face. David Bentley (veterinary dermatologist) diagnosed, treated and cured my dogs skin infection in 10 days. My previous vet had been treating him for 6 months with no improvement. I wish I had consulted him earlier! Answered all my questions openly and honestly and treatment explained fully as well as further instructions for me to carry on treatment at home. Dear Team at Bell Brown and Bentley. Since Bobby came to visit for his first jabs and the brilliant recommendation to pop him in for a treat and to say hello even when he wasn't poorly so he wouldn't be afraid of the vets, the service and caring has been exceptional. Especially this year when Bobby the Boxer has to have a Malcest Tumour removed in July and today when he needed to be sedated again when we found another lump under his paw (thankfully the all clear). Although we are currently without our beloved pets, both our dogs (Border Collies - Floyd & Boo) were treated & cared for by BBB at LFE from day one & throughout their lives. Floyd lived to a ripe old age of 17 & half, thanks to the care & devotion of the wonderful, dedicated & highly skilled Veterinarians & staff. Boo (Son of Floyd) died suddenly 8 months after aged 11. The staff and vets are very friendly and put any animal at ease. We have been going there for well over 20 years now and all our animals have always been looked after wonderfully. As a local vet they get to know your pets better than all these big super store-type vets do. So support your local practice.
