I have used Mr Matthews for nearly 20 years for the health and medical care of my two cats and my more recent addition of my puppy Labrador, and I have always received excellent service from him. He may not be the cheeriest of vets but he provides honest and sometimes brutal advice on how to treat and care for your pet and he genuinely cares for animals. He will tell you when you do things wrong, but he is highly experienced and doesn't offer unnecessary costly treatment. When one of my cats developed cancer and also when I had to have my other cat put to sleep, he showed true compassion. The reception staff are always friendly and helpful and also offer good advice for minor ailments. I would, and have, highly recommend Mr Matthews to everyone. Read Less
