We are the UK’s leading veterinary charity, with 51 Pet Hospitals and over 380 Pet Practices supporting pets and their owners throughout the country. Every year our vet team work tirelessly to provide 2.7 million treatments – including 440,000 preventative treatments – helping over 470,000 much-loved pets and bringing peace of mind to 300,000 owners. PDSA has been a lifeline for sick and injured pets for 97 years. In that time we have provided a staggering 100 million free treatments to more than 20 million pets.
It’s all down to our fantastic team: our devoted vets, nurses and their support staff, our charity shop teams, fundraisers and volunteers. But none of this would be possible without you, our wonderful supporters. It’s thanks to your help that we can carry out this great work, keeping pets healthy and happy. And that’s why there is no other charity comparable to PDSA in terms of the scale and impact we have on animal welfare. We couldn’t do it without you. For more information visit pdsa.org.uk

I would like to say this organization is fantastic the staff are fantastic my little girl Sadie has just had major surgery for pyometra and is now in recovery without this operation she would most certainly have died and then i would have been a lonely pensioner.it cost me half the price of a normal vets bill i would say to anyone who has a bitch to get them spayed before this happens and if you leave it you would be facing like i was a emergency operation i did leave a donation after as just remember there are people worse of than you and we need to help all animals and would always leave a donation for any future treatment she or my other girl Samoyed would need. I do need to get them on a diet as they are overweight will work on that very soon. So if your pet is ill trust these people at Leicester PDSA. My sincere thanks. Chris Read Less

I have always given a good donation on every visit, always a minimum of £10 pound and above, but because of the few who can well afford private vet's they find a way round as not to give a fair donation, if you can arrive at the pet hospital in a new car/Range Rovers/wearing lots of gold then surely they can pay more than a few pounds. I rescued a Labrador who had been chained up outside with barely any shelter for 8 years. As a Pensioner I really could not afford to keep another dog, but I could not bear to think of him living in those conditions. I persuaded the owners to let me have him (the RSPCA were not interested ). He had various health problems, needed neutering, and latterly diagnosed with a leaking heart valve.
