Visited this surgery yesterday with my daughter and poorly cat Alphie. Service was wonderful. Friendly, caring and very professional. Alphie is so much better today after his treatment yesterday and should make a good recovery now the antibiotics and pain killers have kicked in. Would definitely recommend this practice to others. The best vet practice I've found for miles around. Friendly, immensely capable and clearly pet-mad, one and all. I've been bringing my cat there monthly for weigh-ins and she's thrived under their care and attention (and lost almost a kilo!) Helped out a lot with horses. Thorough. Very helpful with insurance. If you need help or adbise that a phone call might be able to sort out. They ring you back very quickly. Not very expensive. They will come out to your horses or they have facilities at they 're surgery to go in. Read Less

I have been extremely pleased with the care and friendliness of all the staff. Whenever I have needed an appointment, there has always been some available for that day, if I have felt my dog couldn't wait longer. I feel it's important that I see the same vet (if at all possible) as he knows the dog's history ( a bit like we like to see our own doctor). My vet (Tim) has always been ready with excellent advice and apart from seeing him on the premises, is always ready to phone me if I need extra advice. Read Less

I have only used the equine side of the practise, but the service is outstanding. I have met several of the equine vets and they have all been excellent. The advice and care that they give is without a doubt the best you could ever wish for. I wouldn't use any other practise and I think the horse would agree! Read Less

I have always had amazing service from Town and Country. Through the years we are now on our 6th dog and the service has never changed. They treat both dog and owner with the utmost of care and sympathy when needed. We have even taken chickens to them to be put to sleep but whatever the animal the standard of care is still the same. Have always received great service especially when our beloved 17 year old cat became ill and needed to be sent to cat heaven. It was a Sunday when the decision had to be made and the vet understood how upset we were and agreed to come to our home and put Mutley Moo to rest on her favourite spot on the sofa. The vet on call they day had the perfect balance of empathy and professionalism and put us at ease during the emotional and difficult situation. Brilliant Vets. My girls usually see Tim or Michael. They are always vet thoughtful of the animal and the owner... I have used them for the passed 15 years. 2 years ago when I had to make the awful decision to put Millie to sleep they were so understanding and treated Millie in her final hours with respect and dignity. Had to have our 18year old cat put to sleep. Tim was so caring. This is where we got flix from all those years ago at 6weeks old, they took care of her for first 3years before we moved then back to them the last year of her little life. Town and Country isn't my usual vets but this year my rabbit Dexy sadly passed away at home and I took her to Town and Country so she could be privately cremated, I had had her for 9 years and was very upset, the nurse's and receptionists were lovely to me and they sent a card afterwards too Read Less

Had to take our dog Bella in as it turned out she had a pretty nasty infection and needed surgery. The family Dog Star was sadly put to sleep on Monday. At 14 years old she was doing well for a German Shepard, but sadly her time had came. My mum and step dad too her to Town and Country vets, the vets were very sympathetic and helpful while dealing with Star. The next day we received a lovely card in the post from the vets, saying that they were thinking of us and sending our family their sympathy. Such a thoughtful and kind act. I have taken both my cats and dogs to town and country and have been so pleased with how friendly all the staff are and how quick and easy it is to get booked in!
